Please miners, can we come too?

Deep, this really isn't the thread to take shots at environmentalists.

What program at the cUSA level doesn't aspire to bigger & better things? I sure as hell hope UNT does especially when I hear suggestions of merging our current league with the Belt,

WB talks a great game when it comes to scheduling. But when you look at what he's actually done - think Liberty - it's really pretty pitiful.

Had a larger percentage voted there's a good chance it wouldn't have passed.

DRC: Results of UNT fee vote delayed again
GTWT replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
It'll be funny (at least in the context of this thread) if it turns out the complaint was filed by a pro-increase student who thought the vote was going against athletics. -
Are those the actual five SB trophies? Or replicas? Thank you, by the way, for your service to the community.

If the AD did his work, then yes. If the AD screwed around, then no.

Southsideguy, What you said was, "More money is being sent back to Mexico by illegals then what is earned in wages here in the US." The essay you copied above says, " 60 billion dollars are earned by illegal aliens in the U.S. each year. ..... $10 billion dollars are sent back to Mexico annually, " You see the disconnect? According to your essay for every $6 earned $1 is send back to Mexico. I'm surprised it isn't more. By the way, could you provide a link to the source of that essay?

Dusky, you're just one of a thousand reasons people think FAU should have stayed in the Sun Belt.

Welcome to the board qbmann2. I wonder who thought that post was worthy of a 'down-vote'?

The good thing is that it will be 3 or 4 years before you know. Till then, assume the best. -
DRC: Dates set for re-vote on UNT student athletic fee increase
GTWT replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
It's hard to compare the academics of universities. It makes more sense to compare programs within universities. You can however apply metrics that give a rough ranking. In Texas one such effort can be found at: https://www.4icu.org/us/texas/ . In this particular ranking UH is third, UNT is 6th, and TT is 7th. SWTSU is ranked 12th & UTSA 14th. A different ranking, using very different metrics (http://www.bestcolleges.com/features/best-colleges-in-texas/ ), ranks TT 6th, UNT 8th, & UH 12th. -

You and I have very different perceptions of UNT vis-à-vis Texas State & UTSA. UNT's peers are, in my admittedly biased estimation, TT & UH - large state schools that dominate their region of Texas. Texas State & UTSA are more on the level of Sam Houston, Stephen F. Austin, & Lamar.
