People will always have excuses not to buy season tickets or join the MGC. It use to be because of Dodge, before that it was Dickey, before that Simon, before that because we were 1-AA...now it is our home schedule for next year.

I wonder if we have the in-house talent to really get the most of conference realignment. Isn’t there a consultant out there that we could hire that would help lead us through this process? Maybe a retired AD who was successful at moving their University up the conference food chain?

I saw one of these guys at the game last weekend. They are out there and if there is a demand I'm sure there are other poor college students willing to do it.

Last night I dreamt that I went to the upcoming UNT-UTA game. In my dream I walk in UTA's gym and instead of seeing bleacher seats I see seating that looks like what you would see in an old movie theater. You know, the gradual slope before everyone went to stadium seating 20 years ago. I sat down in one of the seats and noticed that the hardwood was actually elevated, kind of like a stage. I actually had to look-up form my seat to see the players on the court! I felt like I was watching a basket ball game at Billy Bob's or something. Near the stage was a giant pit if that even makes sense. I'm not sure what was in the pit. Anyways, on the other side of the court was some make shift stadium seating. But it was real small, like the seating you would see in a gym at an elementary school or something. It probably held only a couple hundred people or so. What a weird dream.

This is a sign that we are officially big time now. The NCAA is ruled in our favor.

I think it could be done, but I am not sure what we will gain from it. Just because you stop people from tailgating doesn't mean they will go into the game.

I don't think it is the cost of a ticket that is keeping people from coming to the game. The students get in free and there were not very many of them at the game.

Anyone with Comcast cable should be able to watch the game.
