Do we have a Boone Pickens? Seriously, is there anyone who has donated more money to the athletic program in the past few years? Is there anyone who has come even close? UNT does not have a lot of "big donors". It would take 4,000 people in the Mean Green Club donating the minimum of $250 each to match his gift. I'm not saying we should of kept Dickey because of his friendship with a big donor, but I think that donor does deserve some respect for donating $1,000,000.

What is reasonable depends on your personal finances. What the program needs from each donor depends on how many donors there are. If the stadium needs $30m then we will need 3,000 donors pledging $10,000 each or 30,000 pledging $1,000 each. I heard a big donor is considered someone who donates $10,000 per year. Donating $10k over 5-7-10 years will require a lot more money since we would have interest payments if the money is spent prior to it being raised. Also, you would have to assume a certain percentage of the donors won't fullfil their donation obligation.

Isn't Schnelly one of those big name coaches that everyone wants us to get? I wasn't impressed. Although the clip of him earlier in the week standing on a bucket in the FAU cafeteria trying to convince the students to go to the game showed how dedicated he was to the program.

The game will be on CSS (for free) in all of the southeastern states. The game will be carried live. CSS often replays the games throughout the week as well.
