Vizza reminds me of those North Texas fans who stop going to games or donating to the Mean Green Club because they don't like how the football team is doing. It is easy being part of a winning team. How you face adversity is what defines your character.

Yes, the line is a reflection of how people are betting, which is a reflection on how people think the game will turn out. It is clear that as time went on the percentage of people who thought UNT could beat the line increased. But since the line never actually favored UNT to win, the majority of the betters thought that Tech would win the game. So dispite the movement of the line in UNT's favor, most people thought Tech would win, which is why Tech was favored by Vegas the enitre time.

Leavitt should just admit that he made a mistake, apologize on national TV while balling his eyes out and then claim to have discovered Jesus Christ. If he does that, I think he would be a stronger candidate for a HC job. Until then he is carrying too much baggage.

After watching the Rangers beat the Yankees tonight, I am watching all of the fans go nuts. There are a lot of Ranger's fans who have been waiting a long time for this. And there are probably twice as many new fans jumping on the bandwagon. With 100k UNT alums in DFW, could you imagine what it would be like once UNT tastes similar success in football? If UNT could even have anything close to the recent success of TCU, this program would really take off.

We'll have 15k+ UNT fans there. Last game at Fout's, last game of the season, last game for a bunch of seniors, against the biggest named opponent to come to Denton in a long time.

I try to switch over to KNTU on the drive home to listen to their news program hoping to hear some coverage of UNT football. I have been listening here and there the past couple of weeks and have not heard any mention of the UNT football during their sports coverage at 5:45. Today I thought for sure the evening before the home opener they would at least mention the game. Today they talked about high school football, pro football, baseball, the World Basketball Championship, first round of the PGA tournament, tennis and absolutely nothing about UNT football. Considering that not only is KNTU owned by UNT, but also covers the games, you would think that they would at least mention the game during their sport segment. We can't even get our own radio station to cover the team. Amazing. And yes, I already sent them an email.

I had my DVR set to record it from last year and it didn't it up. Are you sure they are doing the show this year?

If you haven't done the tour of the Rahr brewery in Fort Worth you need to go. It is basically a big party with hundreds of people cramed into the brewery with free beer. A great way to waste a Saturday morning. Murphy's and New Castle are usually my first two choices. For a lighter lager, Yuengling Lager is excellent. For cheap beer, you can't go wrong with Miller High Life. It doesn't make sense to pay a premium for any domestic light beers since they all taste like water anyways.
