If we sign him to a 3 year contract we would need to give him an extension after the 2nd year or it would have a negative impact on recruiting. Would we really consider getting rid of JJ within the next 2 years even if this team started to struggle with all of the new players coming in? JJ has already showed that he can put together a consistent winning program at UNT, which few before him have ever done. Certainly there are some risks in signing a 7 year deal, but based on what he has accomplished, I am ok with this.

So are you saying that RV usually invites girls into his office to change? I need to start hanging out with RV.

We will have to wait way past September to see how things pan out. I wouldn't expect immediate gratification here. It will be a long road to turning this program around.

Being able to see this game in person alone made the trip to Hot Springs worth it. Incredible performance for a team that was hell bent on winning tonight. Just back to the hotel and was watching the local news interviewing Mean Green fans who made it up here. Good times.
