Hate to say it, but i would be all over -40.5. New coach, new system, on the road facing a hostile crowd with maybe a true freshman QB. All that being said, it cant be worse than the last couple years of OOC games. We have not played too bad the last two times we were in Norman.... either way the 3.2 beer is cheap and so are the OU women. I am hoping for a 45-17 type game....but I can see a 61-3 game. I am very interested to watch this kid progress, maybe add about 20 lbs. Is there any news on how this kid is going to fit in the offense this year?

Heck, with the amount of Big 10 schools they play every year they should join the Big 10 (11 teams) and make another superconference. I know that will never happen due to the NBC contract and the fear of having to play Ohio St and Iowa every year along with Michigan, Mich St and Purdue.etc..... If Villareal could get in on this and schedule ND vs UNT at the new Texas Stadium in 2010...I will bend over and kiss my own as$ with joy!!!!!!!!

I have the utmost confidence that we will win , however I believe in the Karma gods and I think we are getting a little overconfident! SMUt was only one win (loss to US ) from going bowling... SMUt was 5-1 at home. We have a new coach New system on Off and Def We have the same core players from a 3-9 team. I hope the Gods shine down upon us Sept 8th, I just hope we dont piss them off with some of the this arrogance

I have an idea...lets string up dumpsalot in the parking lot before each game and beat him like a pinata before each home game. We can even dress him up in the opponents mascot uniform... Heck we could charge $5 a swing...great way to raise money for our new stadium.

The only grip I have is that I am a 8 year alumni season ticket holder who travels at least once every year to see the Mean Green....three trips to Austin, two to Norman, two to New Orleans, two to Lubbock, one to Baton Rouge, and it looks like I might be edged out of tickets to Norman this year because of the season ticket cap system (max 10 pts) I fear the first year Southlake fan who bought season tickets and donated $1000 will be at the game instead of alumni who have supported this program through thick and thin! Granted I had the opportunity to donate just like everyone else, but with two small children and a wife at home it is hard to donate on a teachers salary, especially when I am at Fouts 5-6 weekends a Fall tailgating etc....... For UNT's sake I hope I do get edged out and we have 2K+ fans cheering on the Mean Green. I WILL be there by ebay, scalping, hook or crook. I just dont want to be the only one in th upper deck with a Mean Green shirt on in a wave of hillbilly crimson!!!!!! GO MEAN GREEN!

I have been a teacher for 9 years, things are even worse than portrayed. Kids get away with murder and they know it!!! The school I am in does NOT allow the teacher to give students a zero for assignments. WE have to explain to administrators why the student decided not to do THEIR work. Possibly they were not engaged in the assignment or did not feel the assignment was relevent to their educational needs. They are giving up to six weeks to complete the assignment before we can fianlly assign them a zero. As far as discipline, forget about it. The inmates run the asylum. We are in deep crap unless the education system stops this "we are all winners BS" and goes back to reality!

I already started recruiting passive UNT fans to take with me to SMU...the group is already at 10 and counting. I want a win vs SMU.

Chinatown, Mi Casita, and Beth Marie's are the most visited in my home. JJ's pizza on the square in pretty damm good, especially with a cold beer in hand!

I also seem not to care. It would be a great story and all that, but if Vizza is the real deal will Riley play WR or go somewhere else.
