  1. That's awful close to the Mickey D's. Also, that S&S location used to be a Gibson's back in the day. Bought many a piece of useless junk there.
  2. Really good kid. Wish him well.
  3. I'm guessing it will be. You'll see a lot of the same plays run out of different sets. They will put the plays in that he runs well and hope for the best.
  4. A coach has to give every opportunity for the starting position to the players that study hard, practice hard, and work hard. Otherwise, they become liars to the players that *do* those things consistently, and the team will view the coach as someone who doesn’t have their back and doesn’t reward their efforts as part of that team. When those same players are given the opportunity and cannot produce and make plays, then their starting status is fair game, and the coaches can legitimately make changes in the best interest of the team without losing them or their respect for them as people who treat them fairly and honestly.
  5. Whoever was saying that stuff is a POS.
  6. Some of you guys get trolled so hard.
  7. What a load of bollocks.
  8. No kidding. Ruined the whole article.
  9. "All Things Must Pass": George Harrison penned this tune in 1969, but it didn't surface until the Beatles Anthology albums were released nearly three decades later." Uh. Not sure what this means. I guess he means "...on a Beatles album."
  10. I'm sure Tech fans had their hand in this. They are the worst.
  11. This was attendance during 1st quarter.
  12. 1 complaint. My son paid for nachos. Gets back with nachos. Chips were rancid and had obviously spoiled. Not gonna wait another 25 minutes in line to get refund/exchange. Other than that--great experience.
  13. I had my doubts about this defense, and there are still some here. However, they are fast, well-conditioned, and well-coached, and there's now some depth, so players are being kept fresher. I think the defense is good. Not convinced it's last-year quality yet, but I'm very very encouraged by what I've seen the last two weeks.
  14. There +1. Maybe 2.
  15. We took the game day shuttle from the train station this morning. A couple of TWU co-eds got on the bus dressed in green, and were obviously going to their first game at Apogee. Cool to see them there. Talked to a couple of SMU alums after the game and they were very complimentary of the MG and said "UNT has got something going. Keep it up." Student section brought it today. Great to see. The students are really beginning to change the culture. Bus ride back was great--and plenty of people with ESSC alumni t-shirts stepping off to get their victory pint. Great marketing idea by the Oak Street gang. This type of thing will pay off. Also, nice job by the AD with the shuttles. Lots of signs and ads in the buses for local supporters, and a cool logo for the bus windows.
  16. 1. Kickers 2. Corners/LB's 3. DL 4. RB's
  17. Who would have thought. Some equalizer.
  18. I will eat a modicum of crow about my contributions to this thread. However, I'm still not sold on Coker long-term in SA. UTSA has shown me something in the last couple years though. Therefore, I hate them.
  19. I'll give you that the city fathers support them. Local media supports them. They are not supported well attendance wise for a team with their recent success and for being located in a city the size of FW.
  20. Don't know why TCU gets so much love about their "support". FW historically is pitiful when it comes to attendance of TCU games. Much worse than Denton support of UNT.
  21. CUSA needs to have success OOC. Go Runners...
