  1. You freakin' liar.
  2. Looks like the Corinth PD can protect itself pretty well in this case. Not sure why a petition to get the numbskull fired is necessary.
  3. It's really discouraging when the immediate reaction of folks to idiocy is to try to get them fired, publicly disgraced, or otherwise completely humiliated over something that doesn't really concern those folks. We live in interesting times. No more "live and learn", or "go and sin no more". No, it's I'm going to jack you up any way I can. Because I can.
  4. Can you elaborate on "mediocrity concepts"? And the notion that "fundamentally sound defense" doesn't win championships? What type of defense *does* win championships, in your opinion?
  5. Not enough experience. He needs to be a coordinator for a while. HC is a completely different animal with completely different responsibilities.
  6. I guess I missed the part where he fired himself and approved his own contract stipulations.
  7. How's Scrappy 's ass taste?
  8. No kidding. LOL...
  9. It's a nice place. Actually looks a bit out of place in the neighborhood. LOL.
  10. Yeah, that seemed like their problem. App State was also able to whip the GS offensive line pretty regularly, and that killed their running game. Game over.
  11. App State defense shutting down GS offense. #1 defense in the Belt. Pretty salty.
  12. Me too. Want to see that GS offense in action.
  13. Ian Faith: "Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no...no, no, not at all. I, I, I just think that the...uh...their appeal is becoming more selective."
  14. They haven't really played a murderers row up to now. I think TCU will beat them, and they will have tougher games ahead.
  15. I think Smith could be terrific. He’s definitely got the physical and mental tools, and he can make plays. A telling thing last night is that due to his ability to keep plays alive and get the ball (at least a few times) where it needed to be, there was much more involvement from a great number of receivers. That’s a big deal. I think there were legitimate reasons for keeping AM at QB up until now, and those were alluded to in Canales’ interview pre-game. I sometimes wonder if people have lost their minds sometimes about putting in the “better player”, because it’s not that simple. One telling thing that Canales also said—and I’m paraphrasing—was essentially ‘It’s not just about being a great athlete. You have to be a great *quarterback*.’ There are a lot of components to that, and they are not all physical. But whatever. I think Smith could possibly be exactly what the team needs. I think this offense can be pretty good by the end of the year. Having said that, the defense…wow. Cornerback is going to be a strength, IMO, but wow are they green. Where UNT is really struggling is at LB. Not sure what’s going on there, but unless the defense can get off the field more consistently and stop people on 3rd downs, there is a real possibility of 0-fer.
  16. Good to hear from joeyvee. He was a class act here a couple years ago. Glad he's kept up with the MG.
  17. It will be very very close.
  18. If this team would play as hard as they bang their gums together on the internets, they would be 5-0.
  19. Wasn't Mr. Smatresk on the sideline Saturday?
  20. Only ones on the list I'm comfortable with are Fritz and to a lesser degree, Campbell.
  21. There were several plays where there was no LB or safety in the middle at all. The QB saw this every time and either pulled the ball down and ran right up the middle, or handed it off and the RB gobbled yards. No life on the sidelines. Nothing. They quit, plain and simple. It was obvious. Frankly, it was infuriating.
  22. Really need a guy who has done it before. Out of these, Cristobal makes the most sense IMO. Norvell is interesting, though.
