Well, don't go on my recommendation! I don't like to damn places with faint praise--especially Denton joints. I have also seen them screw up orders, or flat forgot my friend's order completely on one visit, so I think they're still struggling a bit sometimes, but the brisket I had last week was damn good. Ribs were a miss. Sausage was ok.

Curious when you were there last? I have been a few times in the last couple of months, and actually thought it had improved some from my initial visit in the old location. I would rate their BBQ as good/very good depending on the meat.

As an aside, I like the "North Texas is Mean Green Country" deal. Big billboard westbound on 35E into Denton. I feel like UNT should always have that slogan going along with all the others.

Ken Starr faced down a sitting president. Briles and his Baylor sycophants are amateurs. If Briles and the rest of the Baylor enablers thought they were going to make him take the fall, they got played like chumps. The sad thing about this situation is that Baylor waited until the day before the report was released to do anything at all. But, better late than never, I guess.

You have to keep cultivating alums to give. That's the only way this gets done right. There has been a lot of improvement in this area, but it is a process that literally takes generations.

He basically had no time at all to put a class together. For that reason the staff worked a minor miracle. I would say B+ at this point.

Believe it or not, a lot--I'm not going to say all, but all that *I've* talked to--don't personally want to open carry. They prefer concealed, as it's less hassle, and LEO's who are not on the clock do not want to deal with the hassle/potential issues involved with open carry.

Mobile and good awareness. Had some big receivers to throw to. I will be interested to see how well he throws a deep out. He can certainly throw a nice deep ball and seam. Welcome aboard!
