Saw an Arkstfan post that indicated that currently with 2 invites the Belt can have only one second option for a 3rd bowl at this time and the 3rd bowl option is Detroit. Reasoning ? Don't have a clue.

The presidents vote on membership and it is very doubtful that SMU would be considered an attractive candidate. SMU doesn't have near the clout that Baylor did when the Big XII was formed.

I don't beleive that TCU will get aBig XII invite.

Tis the off season and rumors/articles about conference realignments abound If the below were true, CUSA would be gutted and forced to rebuild with 4 teams or somehow merge with another conference. Post from CUSA board EagleRockCafe Wrote: The rumors and "guaranteed to be true rumors", have been all over Hattiesburg. BE officials have supposedly made two visits to USM to inspect facilities and visit. "Inside sources" say it is a 99% probability that USM is getting an invite to join the BE along with ECU, Memphis and UCF. All the schools were sworn to secrecy, so that is why nothing is being said at those schools. Now I guess since this is speeding up we will find out if the so called "insiders" are full of crap or not. Not being an "insider", I have no clue.

Another board had Baylor as a possibility for Chris Babb. Star Telegram today sez that Baylor guard LaceDavies Dunn has decided to stay in school and not enter the NBA draft. Wondering if the Baylor rumor was true, could this now affect Baylor/Babbs decision.
