Even if CUSA is out, the Belt is running in neutral and somehow we need to find a new, better home.

Hypothetically, how many coaches actually retain assistants from a failed regime ? They want a staff that they assemble and are personally comfortable with. New coaches bring a new enthusiasm and approach. I'm hoping that this year will be successful, but if not we need a total change as we move forward with our new stadium.

Sadly, on occasion you throw the baby out with the bathwater. Good coaches with losing programs are often casualties of change. We should open our new stadium with a winning team or a new coaching staff to erase all traces of failure and signal a new beginning.

1. If we have a losing season, I want RV to clean house and give pink slips to ALL of the coaches. Wipe the slate clean. 2. No more excuses, no more 'we're making progress', just NO MORE. It's time to produce or hit the road. 3. Don't be concerned about losing recruits, if we have another bad season we wouldn't pull that well anyhow. 3. If SMU can find a coach that can turn their horrible program into a winner quickly, so can we. SMU went 1-11 the year before Jones was hired. 1-11 in his first year and TO A BOWL GAME in his 2nd year. It can be done. 4. Don't get me started on our conference situation. 5. Our new stadium will be a reality soon. I want a winning team playing there in 2011 or a new coaching staff to match our new stadium.

The tradition of WINNING is at the head of my list.

The Belt isn't even a big train. Our choo-choo hasn't been able to climb the hill.

Currently they may have a problem with their soccer coach and promises to a recruit.

Maybe there is a reason the area is 'underserved'. Spurs are popular. Occasional AQ games do well. Doesn't mean UTSA will do well. Their basketball doesn't attract a lot of interest in a city that seems to like basketball. Doubt if their football would be much different after the new wore off.

Do they ? They might have to rent from the city. Might get expensive for just a couple of thousand attendance. Alamo Stadium might be a lot better for them vs the Alamodome.

They know how to wage a PR blitz. Me thinks that when the rubber hits the road, the Road Runners will wreck out on the first curve. They are talking a good game, but it's very doubtful that they will put much of a dent in the San Antonio sports scene.
