  1. http://pigskinpress.com/sunbelt_conference.html EXERPTS D-Dodge, Todd-Well, this is it. If Dodge can muster five wins, he’ll probably keep his job. Anything less and it’s curtains. The good news is he has some talent, and lots of returning starters. The bad news is he’s out of excuses K-Kick Returners-FIU’s T.Y. Hilton(28.8), and UNT’s Jamaal Jackson(27.2) are two of the best kick returners in the country!! L-Lance Dunbar-Watching the North Texas RB last season brought back images of Patrick Cobbs hey-day! With four returning starters on the line and more weapons to keep the secondary honest, Dunbar will easily eclipse 1500 yards and 20 td's. S-September 18th-This is the day the SBC has a chance to steal three out of conference games (MTSU vs. Memphis, North Texas vs. Army, Troy vs. UAB). In the case of North Texas, it could be their second straight as they Host Rice the week before!

  6. Understand from an article that our interim prez sat at the "end of the bench" while at Memphis. Be interesting to see if he sits with JJ and the team during Mean Green games. Also beleive JJ was interim head coach at Memphis while Rawlins was there.

  13. http://meangreenblog.dentonrc.com/ In a side note, I ran into a UNT player in town a few weeks back. He said UNT's wide receiver transfer Tyler Stradford is the real deal and can go get the ball from just about anywhere because of his leaping ability.

  19. I just find it strange that a tech guy would come here with a conference questions/proposal. Tech folks make it plain they feel UNT is beneath them and doesn't really have much to offer as a conference mate so pardon me if I am more than skeptical abut your motive(s).
  20. If Fresno and Nevada were to get the MWC invite they want, yep there would really be trouble in the WAC.
  21. The WAC has gotta be in serious trouble if a Tech poster is over here with a peace offering. Tech just wants to cover it's butt until they can bolt the WAC like a scalded dog. Plus the WAC without Boise Along with Fresno, Nevada and Hawaii looking for the exit doesn't offer much stability.
