Pretty good. A few notable changes in the weight class to talk about. The big winner this off-season was Richard Abbe. Known as "Big Country" Abbe lost about half of the population. Abbe went from 357 to a limber 319. He's still big, but in much, much better proportion. Tevinn Cantly also comes into the fall camp much lighter, dropping from 336 to 311. In all seriousness I would love to be a fly on the wall when Benson is in the process of courting football programs. I imagine the conversation going like this... Benson: How would you like to become a member of the best conference in America? Potential team: What are the benefits of joining your conference? Do we have access to a National Championship? Benson: nope Potential team: Would we be able to automatically qualify for the bowls that people pay attention to like the Rose, Sugar, Fiesta, or Orange? Benson: nope Potential team: Can we at least have a chance to go to a bowl location that our fan base will get excited to visit like in Hawaii, San Diego, or Las Vegas? Apparently Vito had a hall pass for the event I was given the OK last night to come by UNT's new stadium for one big recruiting event. UNT had about 300 high school juniors at the stadium under the lights Since I would like to be allowed to come back again, if UNT hosts another event like this one, I won't mention specifically who I think I saw

What is the last story that Vito broke about the team, player(s), etc (other than opinion) that hadn't already appeared in some form on gomeangreen.com or another site ? Recruiting and transfer info seems to hits here first. Info, though not much, on summer workouts and conditioning seems to hit here first. Appears that gomeangreen.com posters break the story and Vito is the echo that follows up. Vito had the run of the place when DD was here. then TD took away his hall pass. I just wonder where he stands with coach Mac and our new group of coaches ?

Is it me, or does there seem to be a lack real information this year. Not much on who is doing what during summer conditioning. Not much on how the strength program is doing & if players are building muscle and stamina. Not much about our quarterbacks and off season pitch and catch with receivers. Just seems there is no real close to the team info from Vito. A lot of opinion, but not much else. Am I wrong ?

Is coach Mac playing the media ? Has he and his experience staff evaluated current players and determined that we could be much better than most think ? Sure there are holes and weaknesses, but is he playing down what he has to work with while preparing to jump start an enthusiastic group that has something to prove ? The lower the expectations the bigger the bang when the Ws start comming.
