I saw the team playing today at the PEB, looks like a completely different team than the last few years. This team has lots of talent, looks like JJ is getting it together, maybe he can win a SBC Tourny game.

I agree, as much as I hate TCU, seeing OU fall would be great.

I will go with 14. With the way this team plays on the road, they will lose plenty of winable games but just won't play up to ability. This team will have talent, I just can't see them winning a big game on the road or at home for that matter.

They could have the worst shedule ever, but as long as they win the last 4 games in TN, it would be the best thing ever to happen to the program.

Horrible... I thought we were going to play some decent teams. I am very disapointed.

That sucks, would have filled the Pit, even if it was almost all Tech fans. Edit: I tried looking for other teams OOC games to see if we were on there but couldn't find anything for this upcoming year.

Latest rumor I heard, from a decent source was that we were talking to Syracuse, Georgia Tech, OK St, Kentucky, and had Tech coming here. I doubt all of those will happen, but that is what the coaching staff was trying to set up.

I expect a 3 or 4 games against elite college basketball programs this year. Rumor had it that we did have some big name schools set up to play this year. Granted we would to a pounding in any of those games, it is great to go out and play against the big boys even if you do lose.

I have heard the same rumor, as well as rumor for some BIG away games. Hopefully we will see soon enough, some of us just don't get that excited for football

Isaac Hines I just love to watch him play, he stays so calm and so focused at all times. He brings that soothing presents to the court, make you believe you can win any game with him out there.

Having been around College basketball coaches for a few years now, I have a pretty good guide of how they recruit players. First of all, all of the MAJOR programs scout 8th and 9th graders at invitation camps and AAU tournys. Most kids who go to a major school are pretty set by the time they are a junior or senior in high school. The National AAU tourny held in Denton should be a great advantage for these coaches to have the top players in the country playing in their back yard. My brother is being looked at by small DII schools and recently played in an AAU tourny in DC. All the major ACC, Big East, etc coachs (there were many of them) did not watch the 17 or 18 yr olds, but rather the 15 and 16 yr olds play. However, most of the smaller DI and lower schools do a lot of recruiting during season because that is when they have the best chance to convince these players to join the program.
