I guess I really don't know (or remember)...what's the list of players lost to injury on defense and/or the OLine? Comparing the 2-deep from game 1 vs the HC game are pretty much the same. In fact the secondary is identical.

The good thing about having the team suck like this is that the traffic is never much of an issue.

I noticed the same thing at SMU, recalling that at ALL the (smalltown) HS games I attended in the 70s/80s had invocation and tried to remember if I ever saw one at NT. I wasn't surprised about SMU since they are a private, Christian school.

We can't make a judgement on Bean based on a single game, but this is why it's been so infuriating that SL doesn't get these QBs more in-game experience (not just doing runs/hand-offs in the final 3 minutes). I'm a huge MF fan and hate not seeing him get every play he can, but we need to get some significant PT of the top 2 QBs before going into next season. Otherwise, we're likely to burn the first 4 games with the wrong guy (which still may happen).

Well, to be fair, for the first 40 of those 50 yrs, we tried to do it with half the resources of other schools. Now that we finally have support from the admin, along with significant $$ donations, we're still struggling. To add to your lyrics/poem(?)..."Screw it...I'm jumping off the cliff!"

Also, if MF didn't get hurt, there'd be NO WAY we would be getting any of this experience at the other QB's until next season.

Yeah, no problems for me, except we're already getting the annoying FB polls/etc. that seem to be geared for 12 yr olds.

I posted in another thread that the D should have to wear Barney costumes to the press conference if they stink things up again. Since we don't have a look-alike thread, I thought I'd create one on what they (or Coach Ref) should have to wear if they have another bad game.
