UAB is really the #2 team in the conference. They're only out of the race due to losing their QB for several games and losing too many close games.

No it didn't. We were up 30+ points to a team that had done virtually nothing offensively. There was NO WAY we were going to lose that game in the 4th qtr. We didn't need to run out the clock like we had a 10 pt lead. This situation was the perfect time to get some experience with your #2 QB. Put him in and tell the offense to play like it's a 3 point game. Worse is that the same situation presented itself numerous times (back in Fine's years) and SL rarely put in his other QBs other than for the last 2-3 minutes a few times.

I won't argue with that, esp. AppState

So Gunnell is our #2 QB and gets NO playing time in another blow-out game. This is the primary action by SL that infuriates me and he's done it his entire tenure here.

I realize there are other factors involved, but would prefer WKU in AAC instead of FAU.

You rectify #3 by becoming the place that better players want to transfer TO. The problem is this is a circular issue. The good places attract the good players and continue to get better and the bad ones lose players. You have to somehow break out of being in the "from" group. That's one of the concerns with nUTSAck having success and it feeding the cycle.

We've also had young teams (just like this year) that get better as the season progresses.

And he (Trice) just seems like a great guy that you just want to have around your team.

I know someone that tried to use it for the smuT game earlier this year and it wasn't running (on weekends?). Maybe that's been fixed.
