We lost because we couldn't get anything to go through that round orange hoop for way too long. Jelly is good but he didn't put them up 22-2 by making 5-pt shots (although 4pt plays gets close). It was because we made something like 1 of our first 20 shots.

I don't think it was bad offense, we just couldn't make a basket for too much of the game. I guess you could blame it on his offense when we several chances for shots w/in 10 feet and didn't take them.

It's great that Coach M can get his players to buy in to his system. Obviously winning lots of games helps but to somehow instill the discipline to not shoot the ball after the first pass (especially in the modern era of basketball) is amazing. It's almost like they enjoy "toying" with a defense.

While WKY went 5-14. That was some of the worst FT shooting I've seen in a long time.

Well, was considering getting season tix for BBall next year (for the first time ever). Not gonna' happen now. Regarding any possible price increases for FBall tix (despite all the excitement over the new coach), I hope this holds off until we we see some actual wins over teams with winning records first.

I'm definitely NOT a twitter guy and I know this has only been posted for about an hour but it looks like it only has 48 "likes" which I think is important to those of that age. If you're on Twitter, maybe show these guys some support there.

The only benefit I can see from this is with a new coach and schemes, it might be good to get an open week after playing a few games to spend time working on things that the team hasn't fully adjusted to.

Other stats are wrong too (e.g. Offensive). Looking at the Ath Dept staff, I'm not sure who is responsible for addressing things like this but somebody needs to be doing a better job (certainly once it's pointed out to them).

I've said it before but someone in the RTV/Arts/CSCI departments should create a project to clean up the clip, especially the audio (although I think it may be better than it used to be). This seems like something that can be done as a "special project" for credit hours in one of these departments. Oh, and if there's some sort of licensing requirement, then screw that and do it anyway. Take that battle to public opinion (Twitter) and let Coke try to deal with the poor publicity.

I may be mistaken, but it seems like I recall the b/u kicker being a little smaller (even for a kicker) which I attributed to him being younger. Stats show 6'0"-200 vs 5'11"-175 for Mooney vs Cayton. Baylor has Noah as 6'1"-204.

Agree with that being the original intent, but everyone knew this was going to happen and those that have been paying attention know that the NCAA will do NOTHING about it. Oh, they may penalize a few G5 schools but the NCAA doesn't have the guts/power to go after the big programs.

Gonna' be interesting when one of these "sponsors" gets sued when their "employee" does something illegal while "on the job". For the BYU example, what if a player commits a crime while wearing a Build Brands shirt. Actually, he may not even need to be wearing their stuff since he's a "representative" of the brand. Sound ridiculous, but lawyers have been doing this kind of over-reach for decades.

That ship has sailed (of course it was ready for launch from the very first day NIL was considered). It's going to finish the transition of CFB into minor league FB which will be the end for me. Actually, other than UNT games and a few that have direct impact on our standings, I quit watching all other games at least 10 years ago due to this progression away from traditional college sports. The same thing happened with BB when players started leaving after 1 year. I completely lost interest in any team since there was no continuity from one year to the next, i.e. watching a known player for 3 years.
