SUMG, I want to agree with you, but I can't help but pick a QB, under dodge's system. So my vote is for: Giovanni Vizza They both have great potential.

So he's visiting Texas and OU. I wonder if Leach's system has any appeal. A lot of Riley's stock rests in adapting to a new system. If his senior season at SLC is as succesful as his junior, plus he graduates early, he might be the biggest blue chip in the country. That will make it tough for anyone to convince him to come to NT, even his dad. Based on their past history if Riley comes to NT then TD will stay until at least 2010 (assuming like everyone else that he is succesful). That is enough time to really get a program moving. If Riley doesn't come to NT and TD is succesful I question how long he'll stay. GO MEAN GREEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no idea what the advertising rates are for Fouts. But I'll tell you this: They are going to be a lot more expensive in a new stadium packed full of fans! I don't think there are NCAA limitations, but I wonder if the admin would frown on promoting a fan site. The only web site Univ. of Texas promotes during games is TexasSports.com. The reality is most sportscast producers decide quite early what games they will show. It's not a question of providing the stations video, it's about our team providing something to watch. I guarantee you that if we start winning meaningful games and garnering some respect, the media will camp out at Fouts. Until now they haven't cared, b/c they think the audience doesn't care. Dodge has already gotten NT some media exposure and if he starts winning, sorry if WE start winning, he'll get even more. Yeah, Because what we want is a group of people who look alike, think alike, and dress alike. Guys, it's about a city's identity. Locally owned businesses mean a lot to a city's makeup. Big business has it's place but Fry Street, like so many other spots in small towns, is special b/c there's a local flavor to it. Did it need a face lift? Sure. What is the possibility of the square downtown becoming a big hangout? The great thing about Fry is that it's right next to campus. I'm bummed. I spent many a drunken night on Fry Street. It's where I experienced my favorite college band, "Ten Hands". Sitting in the Tomato, staring out at Fry Street, splitting a pitcher with my friends on a hot summer day in '87, is when I decided to go to NT. Bummer.
