  1. I wish his original story were true, that he was hiking nude on the Appalaichan(sp) trail. At least that has some element of danger. Seriously, left or right, if these guys can govern what do we care about their private lives? I guess the difference would be serving your wife divorce papers on her death bed, then it's an issue.
  2. Bruce Bowen, the dirtiest player in the NBA, is no longer a Spur. darn. I really liked rooting against him. I hate the Spurs. but respect Manu, Duncan and Parker too much to talk any sh*t about them.
  3. Reagan's failed Foriegn Policy I've had enough of Reagan's Foreign Policy. He tripled the debt by escalating the cold war. He trained and armed Osama bin Laden (That didn't come back to bite us, did it?). And he left office amid the Iran-Contra scandal. All this while raising taxes 7 of his 8 years. That's not conservative. It's Republican. There IS difference.
  4. Mark Jacoby of YPM From Olbermann:
  5. I forget which radio sports-talk host said, "After the match the Brazilian team said they are ready for their next match b/c they didn't even break a sweat against the Americans." I'm not a big soccer guy, but I bought a Ronaldino Barcelona soccer jersey when I was there 3 years ago. Whenever I wear it (pretty rarely) I always get a comment or two from random soccer fans on the street. I get comments from my NT jersey, but people think I'm a Philadelphia Eagles fan and want to kick my ass. A month ago when Barcelona won the championship of whatever league they are in, I wore my jersey the next day and was asked by no less then a dozen people if I watched the game. I DID watch half. So to put that in Dodge terms we'd lose like 7-0 against Troy?
  6. We should blow that place up. Please take that with the sarcasm that was intended!
  7. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries. Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!
  8. I agree with you. It's the journalists job to question things. To be the bulldog. Without slander, without namecalling ask legitimate questions about policy. Russert was the closest thing we had to that, and now he's gone. Greggory has shown signs of it, but all too often he takes what is served up to him. Not to beat up on the Bush administration too much, but on the build up to the Iraq war we could have used more legitimate investigation. I agree that the press (save for FOX News) is giving Obama a lot cushion. They gave it to Bush after 9/11. It isn't fair in either case.
  9. Good. The less FOX News you watch, the better. Unfortunately I have to watch it. It's part of MY job.
  10. Propaganda is propaganda. They just seem like opportunists. Either way it seems like they are selling out.
  11. Have you ever watched the friendly friends at "FOX and friends"? Steve Deucey says each one of those things on like an hour rotation.
  12. I haven't watched ABC programming since they became a right wing propaganda machine and aired this. It's the same reason I no longer read TIME magazine. The second they put Coltergeist on the cover, they lost my revenue.
  13. So out of the kindness of your heart you gave her a ride. Do you run the names of everyone that gets in your car?
  14. I'd like "W." to visit there once. Maybe then he could count to ten, learn the alphabet, learn how to pronounce words like "nuclear".
  15. Newt Gingrich called this worse than anything Carter ever did. But wait, it started under ...wait for it...George W. Bush! From Olbermann:
  16. I can clearly do better name calling, but this promoter of hate speech doesn't deserve my time. I'll leave that up to Bill Hicks. BTW when SUMG called President Obama "President Urckle", did you call him out on that?
  17. Maybe, just maybe Dave's producer's see a chance at snagging some of Conan's viewers by creating this phony hype. Palin is helping him.
  18. Actually, Scumbaugh blamed one of his producers for the joke saying the picture was supposed to be of Hillary. That is not an apology. It's an excuse, and lame at that. I don't believe the explanation for a minute anyway. The show was taped, then fed out. If a producer screwed up, there was plenty of time to edit it out of the show, but Rush made the executive decision to keep it in. Truly a classless thing to do. But again, I ask Rick. Were you equally outraged by Scumbaugh's actions?
  19. Please read the entire post Rick. Scumbaugh had a TELEVISION SHOW! It was canceled! Clearly, we've established that you read only what you want to be read. I ask again, are you outraged by Rush Scumbaugh's hypocritical antics?
  20. Rick, I assume you were equally outraged when Rush Scumbaugh held up a picture of Chelsea Clinton on his now defunct television show and said, "Who says there is not a dog in the White House."
  21. I get you two confused all the time. Sorry. But hey, way to take the high road.
  22. No, and never claimed to be. But I find it interesting that an atheist (which you have claimed) would make the argument that the doctor will have to answer to God.
  23. So if there is a mosque in your neighborhood you are ok with their standards of decency? cool. I'll remember that in subsequent posts.
