I've seen a few games Gilbert has played both HS and college. In HS his receivers were tall and fast. He just needed to throw it high and let em go get it. In college those DB's are taller and faster. GG couldn't keep up. No doubt about it, he's got skills and June Jones will develop him nicely, but I don't think he fits our system.

They already have Soonervision, an OU television production facility. Their own network can't be far off. If all these big time college programs start their own network (Notre Dame has to be next) how will this affect cable systems? I'm beginning to think K St has thought ahead on this and started their network as an on line service. It's the natural progression.

If I thought I could stay for the whole game I'd pursue this option.I have the hookup. As far as other games I travel out on weekends and am usually unavailable. I hope my off week this football season coincides with a NT home game so I can return to Mecca.

I don't understand the problem with a vegan restaurant. I'm not a vegan but have tried to cut the amount if animal protein in my diet. I would think capitalists would be happy with this. If there is a market for it then it will survive. If not it will die. Oh and not a football forum subject.

We've had good experience with the bar at the Holiday Inn at 183 & MoPac. I believe it's called "Legends". If you can find a joint showing the game I'm good for at least the first 1/2. Family obligations and a 2:30 am wake up call make it hard to stay the duration.

Listening to some sports talk last week. Too lazy to find the actual article but heres another one. A study was done listing the schools with the most major violations. Only schools participating in D1 football were used. No real shockers other than Wichita State. The usual suspects made appearances, Ariz St. was # 1. On the radio show they also spoke of the schools with NO violations. I believe only one powerhouse, Penn St. was on that list. There were a lot of private schools, probably b/c they don't have to adhere to the open records act. Only two Texas schools, Rice and North Texas were on the list. Kind of proud of that.
