They are listed here. I have no idea who any of these people are. Some may be good fans....I don't know. But, I know that at other schools.....the Regents for the Aggies, Longhorns, Crimson Tide, Sooners, etc etc etc.....I'm sure they're all hard core sports fans for the colleges they represent. I doubt that's the case here.... https://www.untsystem.edu/board-regents/index.php

The FAU head coach signed a five-year contract with a base salary of $750,000, including annual incremental increases. For the 2024 college football campaign, Herman’s salary will be $1 million. He’ll earn $1.25 million in 2025, $1.35 million in 2026, and in the final year of the contract, he’ll earn $1.5 million. Herman hadn’t been a head coach since the 2020 season when Texas fired him. He spent time as an analyst for the Chicago Bears in 2021, but made his return to college football when the Owls hired him after the 2022 season. With FAU headed to the American Athletic Conference, the Owls needed a coach who had experience and could recruit the area well. Herman recruited well at his previous stops, and the administration believed he could do it again in Florida. If FAU terminates his contract, he will be paid a lump sum of 20 weeks of his annual salary or the remainder of the contract, depending on which number is lower.

Or you think that the NIL is horse crap....and that schools like us, are wasting our time "keeping up with the Joneses." It's past time for the dumbass ADs of the G5s to get together and break off from the big boys. That's what Moseley should be doing, IMHO. Wanna know the difference? SMU put out word that they needed big $$. They had in about a week....four $10 million donors, thirty eight $1 million donors....and 80+ more that gave six figure donations. We've been raising money for the AC for several years now....and finally have around $5 million raised so they can start on Phase 1 (now a $10 million project). We'll never be in the CFP playoff. Ain't happening. So either trying to get with the G5s and doing something sensible....or going down to FCS, makes much more sense than what we're doing right now.

They hired Moseley. And I understand that to a degree....we were in a bind when Wren left us mid-season. But they never provide any oversight. When Jared offered EM a 5 year deal.....where were they? Nowhere to be found. As I'm sure most don't give a flip about UNT Athletics.

****OFFICIAL ECU vs UNT IN-GAME DISCUSSION***
SUMG replied to Coach Andy Mac's topic in Mean Green Football
Since it's almost Christmas.....don't think of it, as firing him. Think of it, as putting Elf On The Shelf. -

Morris is now 10-13.....but 8-13 against FBS teams. And looking back on these schedules of the last two years.....these have been really easy schedules. An easy 7-8 wins each year.....with a coach who knows what he's doing. -

The game wasn't as close as the final score. Remember they had 7 more points....but fumbled in the end zone. Their turnovers helped us to a 21-0 lead. And they had tons of penalties...... -

I give it up to FAU and Charlotte. They fired their mistake hires....after two seasons. Not us. -

And Coach Keebler wonders why crowds don't show up for this shitshow. -

Good grief. They almost scored on three plays......but we stripped the ball into the end zone. Huge gift there. We get the ball out to the 40 or so....and EM has to go for it on fourth and 1. Pathetic football. -
That article was cut off. At the bottom of the story, they mention concession and parking snafus.

Might want to "hit 6" today....because I wouldn't want to have to win next week to do it. Even though the game is against lowly Temple. 1) These Thanksgiving week games....I've seen so many teams not show up to play. Especially road teams. It's as if the players are pissed that they had to stick around....while other students got to go home. 2) It's not gonna be Texas weather next weekend in Philly. Rain/snow possible on Friday. High of 40 on Saturday. Just sayin...win today. Please.

Maybe if you bring a big enough one.....the team could keep it, and use it as a tackling dummy.

Cooley......if you go to the bottom of this....it says the signing period is the 13th-20th...so we have a few more days. https://www.ncsasports.org/mens-basketball/recruiting-calendar-rules -

I think the signing period goes through the 20th. It always starts on a Wednesday and goes to the next Wednesday. I'll double check... -

Kudos to Brett V for first reporting it -
Yeah....Army has a ways to go. They've actually got Notre Dame (neutral site--Yankee Stadium I think).....then host UTSA.....then the AAC championship game (which, as you say....will be against Tulane). But Boise has to lose.....for there to even be a chance.
-
San Jose State is hosting Boise State on CBSSN. The Spartans are ahead 7-0.....in the first half. Would love to see BSU lose and open up the CFP spot for Army.

5 years. 3 more years left....at $4.5 million over those three years.
-
For years, we've been told by coaches and Athletic Directors, that every coach needs a 5 year contract. Otherwise, they can't recruit......because the kids want to know that the coach will be there for all of his/her playing career. In the day and age of The Portal....isn't the "it must be a 5 year contract" thing.....moot???

Until Coach Keebler learns that the offense needs to complement the defense.....I'm not sure how much is gonna change. You can't constantly be going for it on 4th down. You need to play field position. You need to learn to "tilt the field" occasionally. You need to take 3 when it's available. So not sure that firing Caponi solves all our probs.

Interesting....that this happens right before we play ECU---a team whose season was rejuvenated with a mid season coaching change.
