It's just a rhythmic chant..."Welcome To The Pit!"....that as you're yelling it....you're pumping your fist in the air, to go along with the words. Used to be done in the 70s and 80s. You do it once the game is in hand...

When NIL was first started......as you know it stood for "Name, Image, Likeness." I wasn't against it. I think if any school made money off of a player's name, image or likeness, that player should get some $$ out of the deal. Like those Booger Kennedy bobblehead dolls......or the Cherokee "UNT" t-shirts when Mason was here. But, now it's just become pay for play. And oddly enough....players don't stick around long enough any more....for their name, image or likeness to mean anything. Not at a place like this, anyway.
