  1. In 2009 (his junior year): 108 carries, 1119 yards (10.4 yard per carry average); 12 TDs rushing 24 receptions for 332 yards, 1 TD reception In 2010 (his senior year): 119 carries, 846 yards (7.11 yard per carry average); 18 TDs rushing 28 receptions for 244 yards, 2 TDs His coach this past year at Sherman was Gary Joe Kinne (who was that high school coach who was shot several years ago....remember that story? Kinne's son played QB at Tulsa).
  2. After thinking about it...I can see why a kid named Jordan would be #23. Thanks for the correction.
  3. Buddy on that still photo it shows Jordan as being #21....is that wrong? He's #23?
  4. Plus, if you watch the video....it's an interview of Jalen Jones. During the interview, they show some game highlights.....which feature Jordan. Edit: After the correction from Cooley.....Jordan is #23. So the action photo is of Jalen Jones. But most of the video highlights are of Jordan....including a steal and a "coast to coast" slam. Impressive! http://espn.go.com/blog/dallas/high-school/post/_/id/4570/kimball-solidifies-area-top-spot-beating-soc
  5. You know the North Tunnel entrance? (it's across the street from where the old tennis courts are.). Once you go through the door....at the bottom of the ramp, turn right. Go 100 feet or so.....and you'll see a young lady at a table. She's at the entrance to the Green Room....and will take your money. It's $8 per person.
  6. J D Harris....2nd team All-District, 7-4A.
  7. While I realize that some DEs could be brought in, beefed up and eventually play DT....to me what we need in this particular class, are a few more guys who can play DT.....RIGHT NOW. So, with Orr and Mason on board as DEs, and Micah Thomas as our only DT....I'm hoping that any other D line commits that we get, are strictly DTs.
  8. Bill Jones had some nice things to say about Kenny when they showed his pic at the start of the highlights on Channel 11. He said something like, "And there's Kenneth Lyons, UNT's all-time leading scorer and a former first round draft choice of the Philadelphia 76ers." I called Kenny last night to tell him about it....he didn't see. Would love to get that part of the Channel 11 sportscast for him.
  9. No.
  10. Great.....getting him and RB Whitfield would make this a pretty good weekend. I noticed that Texas Football listed Austin as a 6'4" 255 lb. DT. They really praised his athleticism. But everything else I've read....lists him as about 30 lbs. lighter, and a DE. (I think that's probably right). But like Harry said....with his frame, he should be able to get much bigger and be an absolute beast in a few years. Mr. Orr......meet Coach Wintrich.
  11. The Prairie House. Looking forward to it.....they usually serve up a great, great meal.
  12. Buddy.....this is somewhat speculation on my part...so know that: All the Athletic Center spots are supposed to be available on Game Day. There are going to be spots near the stadium (west side). The closest ones will be for the suite owners. They are putting parking spots near the pond. Those will be mostly for Club Seat people. Anyway....not sure if those will accomodate all the suite and club seat people. But the entire Victory Hall parking lot will be available on Game Day PLUS the 400 spots that they are now adding. There is also other parking available....at the tennis ranch, next to the softball stadium, over near the volleyball facility. Even that field across from the AC can hold a lot of cars. And those spots that are there in the old Radisson parking lot....I don't know why they couldn't be used. Just saying that there are a lot more stadium side of Interstate spots....than folks might realize.
  13. He was at the banquet....was on his official visit to NT. He's a solid verbal for Colorado State, but maybe he'll change his mind: http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-DeAndre-Elliott-121930
  14. Austin was at the football banquet....as part of his official visit to NT. Here's an action photo: http://hcnonline.mycapture.com/mycapture/enlarge.asp?image=32098970&event=1095848&CategoryID=32027
  15. Zach was at the banquet tonight.....on an official visit: http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Zach-Whitfield-89174
  16. Sam was at the banquet on an official visit. From sites that I have read....Rice offered him. Not sure if Iowa State offered him....but fans on one of their blogs were sure hoping they had: http://rivals.yahoo.com/byu/football/recruiting/player-Samuel-Ajala-85636
  17. Here are four names....courtesy of Mr. Vito: http://meangreenblog.dentonrc.com/archives/2011/01/thoughts-on-the-banquet-and-mo.html
  18. Two more thoughts: Sounds like recruiting is going exceptionally well.....better than we even realize. And.....they noted future football games during the highlight film....Air Force was on there.
  19. Thanks to the Ath. Dept........this year's football banquet was pure d greatness. And those of us that were there.....got to see Coach Mc work his magic. What a great, great motivator he is. He had the whole crowd fired up. Congrats to all the players who made it special, as well. GMG!
  20. If the Tegucigalpa paper has an Area Top 100 list....will you please let us know about it?
  21. He doesn't look 18 in that picture....that's for sure. But did you ever see basketball player Greg Oden? He looked 35 when playing as a freshman at Ohio State.
  22. As an additional WR....I like the guys that have been already mentioned. But here's another guy, that would be my favorite WR for us to sign: http://rivals.yahoo.com/highschool/football/recruiting/player-Marquis-Jackson-104055
  23. Parking priorty privileges will mean much more...at the new stadium. I would think that anyone who is in the Mean Green Club would have a pretty decent shot at a parking spot on the new stadium side of I-35. All of the Victory Hall spots will be available for game day parking, from what I understand. Plus, they are adding 400 more spots there. There are parking spots closer to the stadium for the suite and club seat people. So I would think that being in the MGC would give someone at least a pretty good shot at parking on the stadium side of Fouts. And if anyone is interested in joining the Mean Green Club.....numerous ones on this board are Mean Green Club reps. So you can PM me.....or any of the others on here who are Mean Green Club reps. I will be glad to get a MGC membership form out to you...and try to answer your questions.

  25. Didn't get to hear the whole game......did Alonzo play any tonight?
