That McNeese team.....just beat #12 Washington......3-2. Washington was 9-1 going in to the game....with their only loss being to #1 Oklahoma (by 1 run).

Me too. Just like in baseball....if you have pitching in softball....you can beat anybody. And thus far....through 9 games, the most number of runs we've given up is 4. (And in one of those games....two of the runs were unearned. In the other, one was unearned). And that Schoonover gal who was so dominant for UK.....Skylar Savage has the size and potential to be just that dominant. She's 6'2".....and only a true sophomore. Go Mean Green!

Their pitcher Schoonover.....may be tough to beat. She struck out the side in the 1st. 0-0 in the top of the second.....Go Mean Green!!!!

Skylar pitching...had a tough start....bases loaded, no outs. Got out of it....giving up only 1 run. We tied it in the bottom of the first. We took the lead in the 2nd.....2-1. Skylar, after the rough start....has settled down........kept them to 1 run.....thru 4. Now in our fourth....back to back bombs by Donahoe (2 run shot) and Simon (solo blast)....Mean Green now up 5-1.

yep....when up by 8 or more after 5 innings....it's run ruled. This team has four shutouts....and has given up 3 runs in 6 games.

Runners on 2nd and 3rd, 1 out.....if we get these two in.....game over. (run ruled)
