My standard is this: Whatever the NBA (or NFL in those cases) roster says. If it says they came from "UNT"....then I will pull for them.... However, if it says (in basketball)....St. John's.....Michigan....Kansas State....not so much.

Uh....no. We're still 24-12, 7-5 in league play. Coach Delong is by far, the best thing to ever happen to NT Softball. So, no.

Win 13-4. Our bats were really alive in Tulsa. 7 runs, 14 runs, 13 runs. Skyler gets the win. But even at that.....she was given a 13-1 lead in the fifth....so she has to do is get out of the 5th with less than 5 runs......and we run rule them. Well....she did. But she still gave up 4 earned runs in 5 innings. It has to be a focus issue with her. She can't bear down.....for some reason. Don't get it.

If you told me before the season, that Skyler would be as average as she's been, and that Childers would quit? the team, I wouldn't have thought that we would have as good a record as we have. What I'm hoping for.....is that Skyler suddenly gets it together. If we had her as a true ace, and could supplement that with Anderson and Smith.....we'd have a shot of winning the league. (in the tournament)

The story goes that when Snake Legrand had recruits on campus, he would have campus police padlock the place.....so they couldn't get in.

I'm firmly in the James Miller camp. If you read his bio, places he's been have had stingy defenses. So that's who I'm hoping for.

Yes....UNM gets great support. And the MWC has been a 4 bid (at least) league the last few years. But then I remembered....the MWC is about to be broken up. So am not sure how great the UNM gig is any more.

The Coaching Change guy on X, says that Kennedy is one of two finalists for the UNM job. FWIW

James Miller was on Grant's staff in year 1. And has gone on to be a really up and coming assistant at NMSU, Miss. State and now Oklahoma State. (Associate Head Coach).
