By the way, Playmaker: I truly don't have anything against you. I'm sure you're a good guy. Tearing down the goalposts really doesn't bother me. Also, I'm giving you a hard time about that hurricane prediction, but don't take it seriously. And not knowing Houston's record is nothing major. The only thing that you've posted that bothered me.....is when you said that you wouldn't go to the bowl if Cincy was our opponent. Should be a good game tonight......tough opponent. Billy Tubbs recruited really well in the offseason. His team is 1-0, with their only win being a 115-67 rout of undermanned Jarvis Christian College. GO MEAN GREEN!

Here are some of the brilliant things that you have given us on this board, Haymaker: 1. A hurricane is going to hit Denton. Remember that one, oh brilliant one? 2. I won't come to the Idaho game if I can't tear down the goalpost. 3. Houston would be a better bowl opponent than Cincinnati. (Even though Houston is 3-8). 4. If it's Cincinnati, I'm not going to the bowl game. Yeah, you're the kind of hearty fan, that our school needs. I expect next year to read that you didn't go to a night game, because it was dark. BTW...I'm an alum...out of college. Trying to figure out your age.......I'd say that you were born in a period, shortly after our nation was experiencing a coat hanger shortage. Just a guess.

No dipstick......I said that if they were to somehow beat Louisville that would make them more attractive as a bowl opponent. I don't expect them to beat Louisville. I guess if you can't vandalize a stadium, you don't have any interest in being at the game, huh punk?

That hacked me off too, Coach. I heard that elitist jerk say that, and thought, "What is it any of your business if 4 mid-majors are in BCS Bowls?" What the NCAA football powers-that-be will never understand: People pull for underdogs. Upstart programs. The NCAA b-ball tourney wouldn't be called "March Madness" if it was just the top teams from the biggest conferences playing, would it? No, the Gonzagas and Weber States of the world, help give March Madness its' charm. BTW........why wasn't one-half of The Phony Express....half as mad that there might be a team like Boston College or Pittsburgh in a BCS bowl. You gonna tell me those are more deserving than Boise State or Utah?

I know some fans who could go, but never plan ahead. They never save two vacation days, and thus are screwed when we end up in a bowl. Yeah, and for just two vacation days, you can have a helluva good time at the Bowl. Someone could work on Monday morning; fly out mid-afternoon....be in N'awlins in time for dinner. Attend the Monday night coach's show and soiree, and party until the wee hours. Be there Tuesday for more good food, gambling, whatever.........then the game. Partying after the game, and then an early morning flight.......you can be back at work after lunch. So, all it takes is to save two vacation days. All I ask......if you don't go to the bowl, but could........don't bitch about our crowd that is there, if it isn't a good one.

Isn't Playmaker the guy who forecasted hurricanes to hit Denton during the season? Also, isn't he the same guy who had to tear down the goalposts after a win over Idaho? 'Nuff said.

Looking at how we've played thus far....how many total wins (post season conference tourney and possible NCAA tourney game(s) included) do you see for this season's men's team?

Don't forget the endless fun that people of all ages have.....watching as the Morrison's sign changes from Bis-Kits........to Corn-Kits.......to Pan-Kits....... Also, I fully believe there will several SEC games this year, where Bama will win by a bigger margin than they did today (14......but it was really more like 12, since we thought they were gonna let the clock run out and a guy went in for an uncontested layup at the buzzer)..... Now that thug has all year to work on his rap album....... Two other Pacers were suspended 30 games and 25 games....Ben Wallace was suspended 6 games, I think. All are suspended WITHOUT PAY. Good move, Commissioner Stern. quite a blow to Indiana ........but a deserved one.
