Personally...I'm thrilled that TD is holding RV's feet to the fire. We eventually have to either "crap or get off the commode" when it comes to the stadium. TD has promised recruits that the stadium would open in 2010...because that is what he was told. Keeping pushing this stadium back further and further....until 2012 or something.....would cause us to lose numerous fans who are fed up with this crap. Trust me.

I hope that is the name of the group. I thought though...when they first mentioned it....it had some dog related name...like Dog Town.....or something like that. Surely that was an error...unless we're trying to emulate the Cleveland Browns or something.

You think we've never signed a kid, who when he was a junior or sophomore backed up players that signed with SFA, Midwestern State, Texas State...and the like? I guarantee you, we have. So does mean that we were outrecruited by those schools when they signed players who started, as seniors, when our signee was a junior or sophomore? Also, hate to tell you...but if TD wasn't our coach...we wouldn't have signed Riley in a million years. You may have missed the News Flash that he originally committed to UT. I have followed this story from the beginning. In summary, here is what happened to this young couple, who were out on a date: 1) The young man was raped "prison style". He had his penis cut off, before being shot three times. His body was set on fire, as it was dumped outside. 2) The young woman was raped vaginally, anally and orally (forced to perform oral sex on these thugs). To erase evidence of the oral sex, the thugs poured bleach down the young woman's throat ...while she was alive. They cut off one of her breasts. And, they took turns urinating on her. All of this happened while she was alive. They then dumped her body in a trash can, where she suffocated to death. And yet, the DA in Knoxville says that this is not a "hate crime." Just another example of the stupidity of hate crime laws.

What does this mean? 1. As America’s newest FBS Conference we have yet to establish large followings of fans (4000 is the highest number of tickets sales to date) this is our best opportunity to insure our schools will stay regional and build up a following. Is he saying that the most ticket sales that have ever been bought by a SBC school going to a bowl game is 4000?

In regards to one's donor level: My belief is that you treat everyone well. Because the guy who is giving us $250 this year (and is giving us ALL that he can)....that guy might become filthy rich.....and give us $20,000,000 (or some huge amount) some day. And yet, the current rich donor who is having his ass kissed by everybody, may get even richer and still just give a paltry amount (paltry...compared to what he could give). My point is, you never know who's going to come into money...and you never know who might end up being the savior of this program. If you treat everyone well, you've got your bases covered. Personally if I did become filthy rich...I wouldn't give this current athletic department staff big money. No f'n way.

My loser buddies really resent you calling them that. BTW....I'll complain about whatever the Hell I want to. And last year's Kickoff Cookout was set up badly. As I recall, there was only one place to get food. The point is, if you're going to have something and you're calling it a COOKOUT....make it such that folks get their food in a timely manner. That's what I expect when I go anywhere for a COOKOUT. This year, to be on the safe side...I'm going to eat at home before heading over there. That way, I know I'll get some food.
