You'd think with all of the cable networks now devoted to college sports...ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPNU, Fox College Sports, the various Fox regional networks, CBS College Sports....you'd think the Sun Belt could find somebody to carry a few Sun Belt games every year. I know that WKU has their own package and gets some of their games on. Used to, when we were in The Big West...that league got 3-4 national TV games a year. And one year, there was a syndicated package of games. This is not a post about wanting to be in any other league...not at all. Just wondering why Wright Waters can't get the league a better TV deal for basketball.

I'm not sure.....did Scoggins play any DT at Euless? Harlan...according to that stats page which I posted...played both ways. (you have to click on it to show the Defensive stats). BTW....it'd be fine with me if he was being recruited solely as a TE.....that would mean that TD plans to use one more often. Very nice yards per catch.....for a tight end.

According to yesterday's DMNews....our endowment was at $70 million....before the recent economic woes. They listed our current endowment at a paltry $51.8 million. If things had been done right around here, way back when....our endowment would at least be way into the hundreds of millions. No blame to anyone currently, as they are doing their best to catch up. It's sad to think...we're trying to build a stadium that will cost more than our current endowment. Po' but Proud.

Not many students there. If this game had been played with students in town.....the crowd would have been 4500+ probably.

Really good crowd.....I'm guessing there were 2500-3000 there. UTA has a great young coach....I really like Coach Cross. Anyone who can recruit to Texas Hall...can recruit anywhere. Good luck to the Mavs the rest of the way. They won...that's all there is to it. One final point: If a tree falls in the forest does anyone hear it? Well also I would add: IF YOU COME TO A GAME AND SIT ON YOUR HANDS, NEVER CLAPPING, NEVER YELLING FOR YOUR TEAM.........were you even at the game????!!!!!
