This is a game we should win no natter who is at QB. That being said I'd like to see us win this with DW at the helm in a bus driver role. Mix in a little zone read here and there. Just makes no sense that DW has a has a completely different play book than every other QB. And for all the talk of "he doesn't know the play book" how hard is it to turn around and hand it off. Running zone read is more difficult than that

You expectations are out of whack. DT is one of the physically toughest spots to get into. High school muscle and weight is way different than college muscle and weight. Kids need time to develop their bodies for the physicality. Should we also just start a running list of all RS freshman who aren't playing and call them busts? That's great that you can point to a handful of our best players and say "look at what they did! All kids should be able to do this!"

He's only a sophomore! Not sure what you expected

This class is pretty close to done so I don't see why there is an issue with our number of verbals.

That sucks, but its a numbers game too. Not sure if he's a 3 for 2 or a 2 for 2. But if his knee is serious and misses a chunck of next year you're giving up a lot for a little.

I would certainly love to see them out there but anytime you have a chance to redshirt someone you should do it. 1 extra year in a college weight program makes a world of difference.

We have plenty of young guys on the DL who will develop....hopefully. And to this point our 2015 class of DL recruits looks solid. Always take 1 QB a class, no excuses.

His td/int ratio is already better than DTs. If you want to count all season or just this game, either way. All I'm hoping for is steady improvement every week. He is a RS freshman, there will be mistakes. As long as he learns from them, which I did see during this game. his first int was a ball he shouldn't of thrown while on the run, forcing it. For the rest of the game I didn't see anything like that. He threw the ball away when it was needed

A lot. People can poo poo it all day but there is a big gap. People say "oh, the Big 10 is so bad this year" we'll guess what....that bad is typically way better than what we play.

Who we really miss is Richard Abbe

What I liked is that he stood in the pocket and was able to take a little heat and not running at the first sign of trouble. He ran when needed
