I'm surprised to see Branch listed as all conference at cb. Was he really that impressive during spring drills? I just think it might be jumping the gun a little bit.

How about Branch making the all belt at cb. Was he really that impressive during spring workouts?

Has anyone else sat down and looked at our two deep for this year and then realized that WOW we will be stacked next year. Here's a little look at the next couple of years. On OFFENSE in 2006: This year we only have one sr. listed as a starter and that is P Cobbs. So J-MO will be able to take that over once again next year. So in 2006 we should, if all goes right return all 11 starters. And Then In 2007: We should only have lost 2-5 starters depending on how the youngsters step up. But many of these will be at deep and talented postions. Nwigwe, Lineberry, May, and Davidson are the bigger losses. On Defense in '06: We will lose Early, Covington and Branch after next year. The loss of Early will not be bad but losing both starting CB's will be tough. But we should be returning 8 starters on the D-side In 2007: The defense should come back with around 7-10 starters once again not knowing of jucos and how the yound kids will do. We should lose Thompson but we are stacked at the lb spot. Miller in the middle but I dont see him keeping his job for all of '05 If UNT can just get through this year we should be loaded for the next couple of years. I'm sure I missed some people and maybe messed up on what year someone is so let me know of any others and tell me what yall think of the next few to come.

Thats true as we are going after one from Florida, Mizzu, and a handful from OK. thats not something that I had thought about. Its nice to see us going up against more BCS schools for recruits than the SFA's and Sam Houstons of the world. I've asked this before and never really gotten much of a response but does anyone expect DD and company to get any commits before the season starts, during the season, or are we going to have to wait till the last few weeks as always.

We have a lineman who weighs 230 and another at 244. Are you kidding me. I like the size of most the line as they are all around 300lbs.

Ieans was all district qb in a tough district actually the same school Vinvce Young went to. Any resemblences between the two? Not so much

We are going to be set here for the years to come as 9 of the 15 are either freshman or sophmores. We are set for years to come at this postion. Then even years down the road when these guys graduate we should have jrs. and srs. ready to take over.

I was wondering if for the next installments you could also put their class(Rfresh,Soph, SR) Therefore we will be able to see what we are going to lose and whats we will have around for a few years. Bad news guys I recently heard from an not to be named source that Gerald was ruled ineligible due to his participation in the show he will be enrolling in TCJC in fall. In all seriousness that is great for unt.

Why does it seem like so many people are down on Meager? Washington strikes me more of a scrambing qb from looking at his stats. Like mpox said we need a qb to distribute the rock around and take pressure of the running game.

I wonder if he missed any of the first few games that year. Those are some pretty impressive numbers. I like the fact that he almost doubled his passing yards from his jr season to his sr, while still showing that he has the wheels. Just guessing here but part of the reason that some of the bigger schools may have passed on him was yes his bronken leg. But more so because the BCS schools are now getting their commits before the season even starts. So they may have just been a little worried not knowing if he was going to play as a sr. and by the time he put up those numbers it was to late.

doesnt look like he missed his senior season to me. By the way for all of yall who are so big on having speed at the qb spot, rivals has Meager listed as running a 4.8 40 and insiders has him at 4.6 sounds pretty fast to me.

What qualifies as a history of injuries? He broke his leg as a sr in high school and a seperated shoulder in spring ball. 2 injuries in several years. Does anyone else know of any major injuries to him. Everyone is going to get hurt it just seems that unfortunetly his were more severe than others. Youre going to take more hits if youre a running qb as Washington is. Meager is more of a pocket passer who has the capability to take off if need be.

Everyone is so high on Korey Washington already because of his 4.4 speed. Yeah, thats fast. But how about his arm strength and accuracy. Meager is going to be the man and for some reason it seems like a lot of yall are looking him over for some reason. Lets not forget that Meager has speed too. I think its around a 4.6 or 4.7 Meager has been in the system a year now, which is not a lot of time but its more than others. His has the arm and legs to get it done for us.
