Oh my god we just went to 4 straight bowl games. What and were not going this year, and we have a losing record. We should fire the coach. We won how many straight SB titles and were not going to win this year. Yeah fire the coach. He just had his best class of recruits last year. Fire him. We have new athletic buildings arising everywhere. FIRE DD. A new stadium in 09. Get rid of him. Back to back rushing champs. Fire him now. Look at TCU. They didn't make it to a bowl last year. This year they sould be undefeated. Last year they had many problems similar to ours. No one was chanting to fire the coach. Football goes in cycles. Unless your USC or UT you can not stay on top for more than 4 years at a time. By the way who do yall expect to hire? Do you really think that with the $ we can afford to pay a coach that we would get someone better than DD? And no were not ever going to get some big name coach like Price to come here for the pennies we can offer them. Even if we got someone with any type of name recognition it would only be for a few years until something bigger and better came along. GET A GIP IT'S NOT THE END ON NT FOOTBALL

How about TT losing to OK State. That there is terrible.

It won't take 3 yrs to build the stadium. The question as you said euless is when will the construction start. Are we waiting to get a certain % of money, what is the point we need to reach before we break ground.

That is all great news to hear. I say GMG needs to hop on board and raise enough money to purchase something for the new athletic center.

WOW! I haave been impressed by the recruits that Slinker has been able to bring in these last few years.

Is that who that other person on the line is. Watching this team made me think that he was just an extra O-lineman.

If we are going after him I wonder what postion we are wanting him to play. Most kids once they play QB want to stay as a QB. IF other schools are wanting him to come in and play TE that would give us a leg up in the race for him. All that said I like the kid from Missouri. Who know if we'll get him though.

25 times that alot more than the 15 that we have been seeing all season. Hopefully its true as it would help the D stay true. If May is out do you think it's possible that we see Ajani Banks get some PT. I would like to see it but at this point I don't think its worth pulling his shirt.

NT does make a showing in the state top 100. Jamarcus Skillern ATH It shows that UTEP is in the lead, other schools in the running A&M and Iowa ST. Maybe we can pull another Gilmore.

With players committing earlier and earlier, how much does that affect NT since NT does not do early commits. If you look at the DMN area 100 about half have already committed. By the time that NT does start giving out ships how many of these players will be committed already?

JJPfootball posted that we have had 5 in the past few years. Off the top of my head you have Meager, Mahan, Covington, and Thomas. It is bad that we can not get more out of the DFW area. Especially when you consider the other schools who are getting these kids.

jjpfootball, all I'm saying is that I would like to see NT recruit better in the DFW area. 5 is actually more than I was expecting from the DFW 100. I'm sure that by the time its all said and done we will be fine.

Just checked out the DMN area top 100, very disappointed. Once again not a single prospect listed NT as even being considered. Here's some intresting tidbits I saw: NMST 1 verbal and 2 others considering Sam Houston 1 considering LALA 1 considering Tulane 1 verbal and 1 considering Tulsa 2 verbals and 5 others considering Wyoming 5 considering Yes I know DD tells recruits to be hush hush. Why is it that we can not recruit in our own backyard? We are on par with these schools. How many have we signed from the DMN area 100 the past 2 years. I'm guessing not many. With everything going on here I would like to at least see our name on there somewhere. I know its early in the process and DD and staff usually get going a litttle later than others. One good thing that may come out of not going to NO bowl is that the coaches may have more time to focus on recruiting.

I believe that NT does an excellent job in recruiting the past few years. I also expect it to get better with the new facilities built. There is no reason why this years class should not be the best class ever inked here at NT.

Coach Fran is lucky he inherited McNeil or it would be a lot worse. Take that back he would no longer be there by this point.

A big part of the O-line will depend on if Lineberry gets the grades and is able to come back next year. Same on the d-line Raymond will make a big difference in the middle. We need beef on both sides.

31-17 NT B. Jackson continues off of last weeks performence. Meager goes 10-16 197 his best game by far. PC goes for 178 3 tds.

Does this mean that Gilmore will get some more PT?

Mazzolla left the team before the season started. Although I agree on Banks, I would like to see what the kid has but at this point it's not worth burning his shirt. On D we have some decent ends with Gilmore, Chapman, and Ransom, but another won't hurt. DT seems thin and we know nothing of the status of Thomas and Raymond. Like I said bring in a couple on both sides of the ball, the competition cant hurt.

Emmit is right. Hall didnt have 8-9 men in the box every down. Meager has performed admirably so far this season.
