I remember where I was, what I was doing, and how I felt during and after. Its a shame that many out there do not remember. I think the footage needs to be shown over and over. Not just the clips of the planes hitting the towers, but the actual news broadcasts like those on FN, MSNBC, and CNN. We as a country need to be reminded of what is just at stake, and what will happen if we do not defeat those bastards.

That new Scrappy looks terrible!!!! I like the new numbers, the font on the helmets is ehhhh, kinda boring, but I guess it will do. But the uniforms look just as dark as before.

My company's headquaters WAS in New Orleans as well. Still in awe over all of the lives that have been devesated, lost, as well as all of the history the City of New Orleans held.

Apparently LSU also has an Austrailian Rules football team. They had to make sure to distinguinish the two. And on the "State" reference, I asked Mike Rhyner why he referred to us as state. He said it was to annoy Georgy on the morning show. Apparently, alot of people want to annoy him

In addition to what those guys said, please be courteous to the Community Service Officers or "meter maids". They are the people in the light brown shirts that will be walking around issuing parking tickets. 99% of them are nice people, but the two guys running the parking enforcement department are the ones who are the aholes. They have a job to do, and they know they are pretty much the most hated people on campus, but they have to write the tickets. There is no "quota" as to the number of tickets they have to write, but if they dont issue the tickets, the bosses will find other officers who will. Besides, they are the eyes and ears for the police department. If you get in trouble or need the police, their dispatcher is also the police dispatcher. Thus you can sometimes get help quicker. Also, it doesnt work to try and alter the pass, or do any other schemes to get around paying for parking. You will get caught, and the fines can and probably will be more than if you had just paid for the sticker or took the parking fine. You would not believe some of the things I saw. Just remember, at some schools, you cant park within 2-3 blocks of the campus, even with a parking pass. No matter how bad the parking may seem at NT, its alot worse at other schools.

The guy is compared to Mario Lemiux, and he s often refferred to as the next Wayn Gretzky. And that was said by, Wayne himself. From what I hear, he will be ready to make an impact this year.

I don't think height matters too much on RB's unless you are going to use them alot for the passing game. Give me somone who has power and can break away in the open field. Smaller back = lower center of gravity.

Horrible news and a sad day for NT. Dr Pohl is a great man and a great president for this school. He has done so much for this school. He gave RV the means to change our athletic program around 180 degrees. I had the opportnity to get a picture with him the last 2 NOB's and on my graduation day. I hope the school will find somone that has his same mindset and dedication. As to why this is happening, I'll give you two guesses. The first guess starts with a "l", the second starts with a "j". I agree with the other poster, I hope the underhandedness of logogate is not mirrored in any way here. I also hope this does not affect RV's dedication to this university. Long live NT and long live Dr Pohl.

So, is anyone really suprised by this?

A new show aired last night on Comedy Central last night called the Carlos Mencia show. This dude is freakin hilarious. I had heard a little of his material before, but my first real exposure to him was last night. He will poke fun at anyone, including himself, and no race is excluded. if you like comedians and comedy that won't hold back to save someones feelings, you will like this show. For those that did see it, any thoughts?

The toughest stadiums in the NCAA or the toughest stadiums we play in?

Congrats to Denver. It was a good game. One of the Denver goalies is from Irving. We are seeing the first group of kids that grew up watching the Stars entering the world of high competition hockey. It will only be a couple of years until we have born and raised Texans playing in the NHL. Many of you question why I think NT and other southern schools need to begin a varsity hockey team, that is why. There is an immense talent pool in the North Texas area, and I think it would be a sport that NT could excel at. I agree we need other things first, like baseball, but varsity hockey at NT can not go unrealized. But for now, congrats to Denver for winning back to back championships.

I'll have the game on, so if anyone wants to watch, or meet somewhere to watch some good hockey, let me know. Also, after the game, theres going to be some UFC fighting on TV, and that starts at 9. If you have never seen that stuff, its pretty cool.

Pierow, myself and a few others talked of this after the gomeangreen bowl. Who would want to be in an adult softball league over the summer. We can form a men's, women's and co-ed teams, it just depends on who is in. If you are interested, let me know, and where you are located, so I can find a city that is close for all of us. Also, does anyone know of any adult BASEBALL leagues? I cannot find any.
