This is no shot at DD, but there cant be any way he is back next year. His health problems have taken too much out of him, and I seriously doubt his heart is in it as much as it used to be. I really think DD needs a year off with his family, and after his health recovers, I am sure he can find another head coaching gig. As for the waiting to replace him, they could already be looking, and the decisions may have already been made, we just dont know it yet.

I personally love the way South Florida has built their program. They have been D-1 for how many years? Now they are in a BcS conference.

I say lets all meet at Hooters. Wear Mean Green gear and looks for others and pull them over. I think we can get a big screen over on the patio. How does this sound to everyone?

WOW!!! This is horrible news. I think most of us knew his health had taken its affects on him and his job, but wow, this is a shock. I think Emmitt is right in saying maybe its best for him to let coaching take a backseat to his health. My thoughts and prayers are with Coach Dickey. GET WELL COACH!!!!!

Yeah, its a rebuilding year for the Thundering Herd. I wasnt too hopeful they would beat SMUt today. I hope it doesnt take long for them to come back.

I dont expect us to win all of them, but 9-30+ over NINE years is ridiculous. And in alot of those, we aren't even close, much less competitive.

The answer is simple......Any big name school is an out of conference school, and unfortunatly, our boys arent coached to WIN OOC games.

OOOk, I guess I should mention I wasnt talking about using actuall D-Day Strategy. I was using it to "illustrate" that we should attack by land, air, and sea.
