  1. South Florida avoids it because you'll never hear them go by South Florida but USF instead.
  2. Where is it at in relation to the stadium?
  3. Well that's just sweet as shit right there.
  4. Piss off with your lecturing. Now I remember why I had you on ignore.
  5. Settle down. Based on your posting history I assumed you voted mostly Republican.
  6. Still trying to figure out your point here. I'm arguing that the defense lobby has too much power & therefore we need wars to keep them profitable. That has a negative influence on our politicians. Eisenhower was correct in making this statement, weather or not he lead us to victory in a completely necessary war 15 years prior.
  7. UNT90 is trying to create a parallel between North Korean death camps, gun laws, and the current deficit in the federal budget. Do I have to explain the lunacy behind that?
  8. Wait, what? So because Eisenhower had experience in winning a war, that disqualified him from warning the American people of defense contractors having too much lobbying influence in Washington? Is that the point you're trying to make? The ones you and Rick keep voting for. The ones who will cut their noses off to spite their faces, IE planned parenthood funding.
  9. Rick, Way to completely change the subject. I'm not going to argue pro-choice vs pro-life, but you conservatives quickly forget that while planned parenthood might provide the largest number of abortions, they also prevent more abortions than any other organization. De-funding them will only increase the 'slaughter of brown babies' as you call it.
  10. We could stop our eternal cycle of endless wars on brown people, that might ease the number of tours. Sure would piss off the military industrial complex, pardon the cliche phrase.
  11. And I had a geology professor who believed if the arctic ice melted from global warming it would just cool the water...seems kinda comparable.
  12. The day you institute a draft in this country is the day when half the 18-25 year old population suddenly disappears.
  13. Quite possibly, but I think GIlbert took something like 27 hours his last semester at Texas so he could transfer. Craziness.
  14. Its also trendy that SEC always seems to get the benefit of a doubt for past circumstances. So what if Auburn won in 2010, they're garbage now. That doesn't have any effect on whether Bama should or shouldn't be playing in the national title game. But it does. All we hear about is awesome the conference is based on the results of the last half decade. After last night Louisville has more wins against SEC teams than UK, Tennessee, and Auburn combined. My only contention for the Big 12 being the best is that you never get a week off. 90% of their teams qualified for a bowl. I think that says the most this year, anyways.
  15. I bought so much old stuff this past year I couldn't really compile a good top 10 list. I love the new Tame Impala album, Lonerism. Love love love. I'd put money down the new Toro y Moi will be incredible in a few weeks too.
  16. I would contend the Big 12 is better top to bottom, but 6 SEC CHAMPSHIPS MAKE DA HOLE CONFRENSE BE GUD
  17. If he graduated from Louisville last semester then he can transfer without sitting a year, ala Garrett Gilbert to SMU. I think the rule is your graduate work needs to be in something your current school doesn't offer.
  18. He momentarily distracted Eric Harris, but the shooting was over by the time any deputy even made it into the school. Not to say he did a bad job or anything, that was just the dynamics of the situation. He might have been able to take 1 or both of them down sooner had he been in the cafeteria, but that was just bad luck on his part. This was probably the best book I've read in the last year if you're interested in Columbine, I'd definitely recommend it. http://amzn.com/0446546925
  19. No. I'm afraid he didn't, really. The poor execution (for lack of a better term) by the shooters what was kept their body count down.
  20. LOL, if you want to call them that. They were more like redneck firecrackers. Point being, having a guard didn't deter them.
