  1. He would have to be tried as an adult and for whatever reason that didn't take place.
  2. The problem is more or less how the system works and not just this particular judge. From other sources I've read, the judge's reasoning was that if he was sent to juvenile he would likely be released when he turns 18 in 2 years. By putting him under strict probation for 10, the kid is still kept under watch and will be handed a more severe punishment if he violates his parole. From what I gather, apparently this was a no-win situation for the judge....?????
  3. My Sooner buddy said he's down unless the weather is anything like it has been the 4 days.
  4. Exactly. It's either put up or shut up. With the year we had, we shouldn't be afraid of anyone.
  5. I just did before reading your post. I think they're very winnable but yet marque enough to bring attention.
  6. No, but I did have to drive into work this morning. Hour and a half for a 30 mile commute. Profit over people I guess...
  7. Nope. The QB is the only player who doesn't play ironman football:
  8. But if there's any year to make Champions League, it's this year with Man United being down. I know Lukaku is on a year-long loan and everything I've read seems to indicate he either can't, or at least won't go back to Chelsea without a substantial fee. Chelsea isn't hesitant to spend the dough but I really don't know if they'll pull the trigger and call him back. I hope not.
  9. Trivially followed Everton ever since they signed Joe Max Moore way back when. First EPL team to sign an American outfielder at that time. Been a 'fan' since 2004/2005 and I'm stoked the way NBC Sports has taken over the broadcasting. Every single week my club is on TV and I love that. Was worried when Moyes left that it might not work and I was really hoping Martinez would be the guy to take over. So far Brilliant Bob is doing an excellent job and already has 1 more win at Old Trafford than Moyes did. Think if we don't stumble and keep playing well then we'll get to play in UCL or Europa next season. Onwards and upwards.
  10. As we have found out in the past, these receipts can be easily faked.
  11. Little late to the party but you guys knocking Fielder's health and eating habits should probably pay more attention to the fact that he literally never sits out a game. He's always been healthy and in the lineup since getting to the major leagues. Doesn't matter though, I can't support the Rangers now that they've traded all their white guys.
  12. I tend to agree but it's impossible to play the "if" game in that scenario. I do believe punting would have been the better option though.
  13. Iowa is a marginal top 25 team with a top 10 defense.
  14. Since losing the 09 National Title game they've been in a tailspin. 7 losses, 5 losses, 4 losses. So he's won a national title with Vince Young 10 years ago, congrats? Every other season he's come in with a top 5 recruiting class and still, 1 national title in a conference that is 2nd tier to the SEC and arguably the PAC12 & Big 10 in some years. Not to mention overlooking the last 2 Heisman winners who went to high school in Kerrville and Copperas Cove. Let's not forget Jameis Winston who said he wanted to play at UT but they never offered. UT is one of the few schools that can sleep and still win the recruiting battle, yet Mack Brown has exactly 2 conference championships to his name.
  15. And had, what, -7 rushing yards that game? I was proud at how well we did in Georgia, but Georgia generally does play down to their opponents.
  16. No, the Michigan that almost beat Ohio State 2 days ago. That Michigan. Not the one from September.
  17. Michigan would slaughter us. You people let your bias show way too hard.
  18. Mack Brown takes the top recruits year after year and leads them to....4 losses.
  19. Except that it can totally be the case with either sex. I have a friend/acquaintance that thinks Bama would give OSU a "blood bath".
  20. I think the most pathetic part of your story is that I can bet you these 'fans' had never even set foot in Tuscaloosa.
  21. You people are killing me with all of the "I'd like to see this and that team" wishes. We're still a team with 2 C-USA losses. I would not be looking forward to playing a Nebraska or an Oregon State.
