Five observations from the Mean Green win over SMU
Coffee and TV replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
SMU's wonderful fanbase didn't help either. Houston brought about 4-5x's the amount they did 3 years ago. -
UNT 6.5 point favorite against La Tech
Coffee and TV replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
We've gotta open up the passing game more against this team. They'll be bringing more talent than what we saw Saturday. SMU was a very, very, bad team. -
You hiring? Gonna take a half day since I gots the PTO, hope to get some good tailgating in.

Who else woke up with a nice Sunburn?
Coffee and TV replied to KingDL1's topic in Mean Green Football
I keep sunscreen in my trunk simply because i'll never know when I'l need it in a Texas summer. Parked my car, walked to the tailgate and just totally forgot. Ouch. #whitepeople -
Houston brought about 5x's that amount a few years ago.

Thought the pass interference on Buyers before the interception was total garbage. Every deep ball throw like there there's tussling between the WR and DB, and when the DB saw that the pass was too long he simply flopped down.

Arizona by at least 17. UTSA might put up a lot of points but Zona will throw up PLENTY.

Good News SMU Band will be performing at the game on Saturday
Coffee and TV replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
I dunno man....typical OU game: 1st down = Boomer Sooner. Dropped pass by opposing team = Boomer Sooner. QB makes an audible at the line of scrimmage = Boomer Sooner. -

I had Coors Light and thought of it as just plain terrible, so I never tried original. I did the tour in Golden a few years back and had Coors Original straight from the source and I really liked it. It's different in a bottle/can, but if you can get it on draft it really goes down well.

I've been to some really hot soccer FCD matches/tailgates but most all are in the evening. Really not digging that high noon sun.

Eh. I'll just crack a 6er in the parking lot and save some dough. Might grab one while I'm in the game. Maybe.

If my girlfriend is working Saturday can she still get her ticket & give it to a friend, or will they check IDs at the gate as well?

A quote from someone who commented on the story: "South of 30, for the most part, are full of really talented players that simply can't get into the school. Nope. Any other theories. -
Haha. 1 person on this board knows me. And that was because we interned together.

CUSA made a mistake with the FIU invite

Anybody know why NT03's post is empty to me. Is it an adblock error, a java script error? What am I doing wrong? -

I just started a FIFA player-manager career with Preston North End. -
Seems slightly high, but I never bet on UNT. And I never bet in the first week either. I'd say we cover, but who knows. :-/

God I loved having DirecTV for college football season. I have UVerse now but at least the bar across the street will have a lot of games on.

Everything is so close by train, maybe convince her by using Beatles landmarks? -

I dunno if what you're describing is much different from how I feel. While I definitely have adopted a club, I don't have a literal connection to it via family/heritage/personal experience. The closest I've come to the club is seeing them play a friendly vs Club America back in 06 or 07 I think. (I actually sat with Bobby Rhine & chatted with him in the 2nd half of that match NAME DROP). I do feel ya on how people can be really weird about their European teams though...I've had fellow FCD friends almost get into fights about Chelsea vs Arsenal or Liverpool vs Man U. It's kinda ridiculous. I always interject with the reminder that none of them have even attended a home match of their respective clubs that they want to argue til they're blue in the face for.
