Seen Selma or read any of the reviews on it? I still want to see if but will be going into it a little weary because of the way the director portrayed LBJ as some sort of antagonist to MLK. Yeah I've always heard "the computer was essentially invented during WW2" but never read much of the details about it's beginnings. It was really cool film that didn't get you caught up in the minute details of it all and focused more on Turing. The flashback sequences did well to explain enough as well, there was no need for a full biography of it all. It's a damn shame what happened to him after the war though. Pretty good film but I still put it behind The Theory of Everything and maybe Wild. I really gotta get around to finish out the Best Picture nods.

You people should really start pony-ing up for satellite radio. It's one of the few luxuries I refuse to give up. The only AM/FM radio I ever listen to is 88.1 these days.

On my list. I think my favorite this year has to be The Theory of Everything. It wasn't really what I was expecting but I still really really liked it.

My biggest problem with my EADP degree has been getting my foot in the door. This area is so saturated with UNT EADP grads that the entry-level jobs for those fresh out of college are impossible to find. Every single entry-level position I looked at and/or applied when I graduated wanted 3-5 years experience along with the degree. At the time (and still now but less so) I couldn't really leave the metroplex to take a chance in North Carolina or Oregon or where ever just so I could get that experience. It's incredibly frustrating and an issues I've also heard some of my other fellow grads encounter. Another poster on this board that I interned with caught a job in Austin, but it was 5 years before he could get back in the area. Also that's 5 years experience he automatically has over me if we were to compete for the same position.

Just find a somewhat successful (or at least heavily traditional) P5 team and jump on the bandwagon. I just capped off UCLA winning 10 games this year with the toughest schedule in all of college football on a wonderful trip to the Alamo Bowl with my girlfriend. Haters gonna hate.
