  1. "If I had a dollar for every time someone over 40 told me my generation sucks... Then I could afford a house in the economy they ruined."
  2. Castillo is becoming one of my favorite players. I've been hearing a friend say "this is his breakout year" for about 4 years now. Seems like 2014 he really did crack his temporary ceiling and has now busted through. Thanks Papi.
  3. It was bad luck more than anything, but still funny. k bai
  4. Comical http://gfycat.com/VigilantPositiveBarasinga
  5. Haha cool. I've got my younger sister at St Edwards and my younger brother at Tyler JuCo right now. I think he might follow our sister.
  6. Things have changed, man. Time to give it another shot the next time you're down.
  7. Thought he was staying at the Chill because his son was about to be varsity QB age. I dunno, I move outta Cedar Hill last year.
  8. Tale of two halves. They definitely won the second, Gio went into beast mode the same way Castillo did in the first half. If they could manage a defense that wasn't complete dog sh-t they'd do okay.
  9. Oof. Dude has done so much to put Cedar Hill on the map the last 15 years. He's won enough titles for forgiveness in the eyes of many in that town.
  10. I survived the 3+ hour rain delay Saturday night at Toyota Stadium AMA?
  11. Nah, they just turn over the tombstone's of their political opposition's parents. http://www.politico.com/story/2015/04/hillary-clinton-father-tombstone-toppled-116993.html Come on. Stop acting like conservatives hold some sort of higher ground when it comes to shit like this. You could have just kept it to "dispshits on either side" and left it at that.
  12. Should have told them that her mom was dead.
  13. I'm a Padres fan but went to the Rangers last night because sports. Crowd seemed pretty dead, but I guess that's just a Monday night 7:05 game
  14. What does that matter? My girlfriend attends UNT as a New Mexico resident. Governor Abbott's decisions and policy affect her just as much as they do you and I. And no, she wasn't the New Mexican you're referring to, she didn't sign any petition.
  15. Which is not what you quoted... What she said was this “we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy.” In the context she meant that there was too much noise and hot air surrounding the ACA before it could even get through the committees to the floor for voting. Which is pretty much true for most bills. Until all the amendments are hashed out, debated is closed, and the votes actually come in, the final version of the bill isn't always known to the public. Conservatives like to repeat the talking point like you did that Democrats didn't bother reading or knowing what was in it before they voted for it, which is silly. Congress and their staff wrote the bill, Congress heard debate on the bill, and Congress did a lot to edit the final bill. That statement still rings true today. When you poll citizens and ask them how they feel about Obamacare, they don't like it. When you ask them how they feel about laws that were actually in the bill, a pretty clear majority tends to like it. There's even a pretty wide spread between asking people if they like Obamacare versus asking if they like it by it's actual name: The Affordable Care Act. Here's the full quote: Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday that people won’t appreciate how great the Democrat’s health plan is until after it passes. “You’ve heard about the controversies, the process about the bill…but I don’t know if you’ve heard that it is legislation for the future – not just about health care for America, but about a healthier America,” she told the National Association of Counties annual legislative conference, which has drawn about 2,000 local officials to Washington. “But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it – away from the fog of the controversy.” During a 20-minute speech, she touted benefits she thinks will be tangible to the audience’s employers. She said there’s support for public health infrastructure and investments in community health centers that will reduce uncompensated care that hospitals now need to deliver. “You know as well as anyone that our current system is unsustainable,” said Pelosi (D-Calif.). “The final health care legislation, which will soon be passed by the Congress, will deliver successful reforms at the local level.”
  16. Meh I've heard the same wrap but I wouldn't really bother. All the mods on here are his buddies so the rules don't really apply to him. If you're gonna act like a jerkoff online then you're probably not much better in person.
  17. That's a quote that conservatives like to throw around, but it's simply not at all what she said.
  18. Yeah it wasn't the Tea Party that was screaming and yelling at their Congressmen before they even knew what the Affordable Care Act consisted of...
  19. Because everything was just hunky dory in 1989 when you were in college right? Nobody protested anything, nobody in any frat did anything embarrassing, no one ran their mouth and said something ridiculous? I love when people whine about the generation behind them. Who the hell do you think raised them?
  20. Guaran-damn-tee that if it was the President or a Democratic Senator these same posters would be leading the protest charge. Guarantee it.
  21. "And I'm peaked in high school UNT90, and I have cable"
