Oh absolutely. My daughter is almost 5 and I really have to check whatever she's watching on Nickelodeon because some of those cartoons are crap. I generally make her stick to PBS and disney. Although this guy has little or no credibility as a whole, he may actually have some when it comes to this subject. I don't think the truth will ever come out about McGuire or Juan Gonzalez or maybe even Bonds, but I think Canseco may not be bending the truth as much as people think he is.

And I also must ask, why does everyone hate on Jeff Gordon? I hear he married rich, but good for him, so what? The guy wins, and I personally never see him boast or brag. What's the big deal, is it a jealousy thing?

Its not hard drawing 100,000 if there's only one race within 300 miles of you once a year. I mean, the attendance numbers don't really tell the real story. And I can garauntee you the WNBA doesn't outdraw the NHL in all markets, if not 90% of them. I used to be a big "NASCAR is only for rednecks" person, but now I'm just neutral on the sport. It doesn't entertain me nearly as much as Rally or F1, or even Arena Football, but I do have respect for the drivers and crews. And Soccer, well the MLS is making big strides since its beginnings, and the US team has put a huge dent in the stereotype that yanks can't compete. One of the most famous players in Europe is an American, actually.

This is so stupid to hate on each other. None of you have to answer to anyone. I wasn't at the Valentine's day game, so sue me. I have a wife who wasn't interested in spending valentine's day alone for a game against Ut-Peanut Butter. Have you been to the last 4 or so home games? We jump on top of teams and then fall behind around the end of the first half, only to stick around until the last 2 1/2 minutes. But from what you're saying, sounds like its the opposite problem for away games.

I haven't decided...the wife has given me a pass but I can't tell if its one of those "you can go but I could think of better things to do on a saturday night"...I guess I have until 6 oclock to decide.

Biggio is coming off one of his best career years, Bagwell finally altered his swing last year and hit a lot better in the 2nd half. If he can keep his shoulder in good shape he'll be fine. Lane will step in nicely for Beltran. In Beltran playing full seasons his batting average is weak. He fit in well with Houston but losing him isn't as big of a loss as everyone's making it out to be. You're absolutely right though, middle relief will be a big ? this year.
