  1. I'd prefer Shreveport simply because I have relatives in East Texas I could stay with, and the drive would be much easier.
  2. i expect better from you.
  3. play action, play action, play action for the whole 1st quarter. After we're up 21-0 sit on the ball and pound away with JMo and PC.
  4. Can't remember what player, but the interception return against Baylor in 2003 ending with the grenade celebration.
  5. what, do you have no faith in your team winning the conference rather than being the 3rd or 4th CUSA pick?
  6. who gets married in September anyways? That's just silly.
  7. Glad to see it from someone, the DMN's same Belo friends WFAA did a big story during the 10pm news on the "possibility of SMU upsetting A&M". Very unnerving, after one win the local press seems to think that this team has won the national title. They've gotten more attention for this in the last week than we have in the last 4 years.
  8. I'm bringing green & white streamers.
  9. love it.
  10. FAU's has improved, but I don't understand why FIU doesn't incorporate their panther logo into their helmets, it looks really sharp I think.
  11. that's a rabbit in your avatar.
  12. source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_Tennes...tate_University Mascot MTSU's mascot is a blue pegasus named "Lightning". MTSU's original mascot was a student dressed as Nathan Bedford Forrest, the Confederate General who later formed the Ku Klux Klan. Due to sensitivities within the African-American community, the mascot was changed to a blue-colored scent hound dog named "Ole Blue" in the 1970s. The current "Lightning" mascot was adopted in 1998, when the athletics department updated its image in preparation for the 1999 upgrade to Division I-A football and subsequent transfer to the Sun Belt Conference.
  13. this is a better idea than writing to the guy, although i doubt it'll make much of an impact.
  14. ah let the pr-ck feel better about himself and his work, the best thing you can do to people like that is keep your mouth shut and act like you're ignoring it. See Kathy Lee vs Howard Stern.
  15. I don't know if I could make an honest objective prediction. Our Mean Green certainly didn't resemble the conference Mean Green of last year, and Tulsa gets blown out by Minnesota before being within 2 points of OU with 4 minutes left. Its hard to say but I'm gonna have faith and say UNT 24, TU 16
  16. Funny, I don't remember our RB's fumbling the ball at such an inopportuned time.
  17. I can't find the link, but I remember reading an article from theonion.com where the title read "Hijackers surprised to find themselves in hell", where they were interviewing the hijackers in hell supposedly. "I thought this would take me to the promise land with 74 virgins" says hijacker Mohammed Atta as he lost an eye.
  18. I'll never root for SMUt, and as a UNT fan or grad I would expect the same from the rest of you. Ball control and turnovers, that recaps the whole game right there.
  19. yeah the Cowboys are top 25 this year. It's gonna be between them and New Mex for the MWC title.
  20. I don't think so but I remember in spring practice Bylerly became the #1 guy when Meager sat out with a sore shoulder.
  21. Tulsa played that game close for the same reasons we beat MUTS last night, which is by mistakes. Tulsa has shown they have no rushing defense, and if they're even slightly afraid of us throwing the ball then it will open up huge holes for JaMario and Patrick to roll through.
  22. at least its a win, but I certainly dont feel any confidence about next week.
  23. New Balance uniforms? We must be the test school.
  24. I would venture to say Dickey wants to see what Patrick can do in a game situation since he hasn't been theresince Sept of last year. Maybe, although I doubt it.
