No joke, in one year this guy took his team from a 52-14 asskickin to a 34-14 win against us. Just goes to show you what kind of talent our coaching posesses.

So we lost by one point more than we did 5 years ago, before we had 4 straight Sun Belt titles to improve our talent level.

2002 8-5 NOB victory with Andrew Smith. 2003 9-4 NOB loss to Memphis. (our best team IMO) Funny you say all this stuff about "wait till next year", because I was hearing the same schpiel last year from people who supposedly knew better than I did.

Its funny most of you don't understand soccer. The basic rules are about half as complicated as gridiron football, and it doesn't involve as much strategy. Brad Sham (you know his as the Cowboys play-by-play guy) learned the game with a trip to the library one afternoon when he was called upon to do a Dallas Tornado that night 30 years ago. He's been the play-by-play guy for the Burn/FC Dallas since day 1 too.

Its really sort of a dumb stereotype though. And some in the black community may feel that that's the only reason they are allowed into certain colleges. I remember reading how some athletes at TCU didn't feel they fit in because the only blacks there played sports. Just a thought.
