I'd agree, except that we got our asses handed to us by both teams. If we were competative in either game your argument would have a leg to stand on. Besides, it doesn't matter until Sept next year, its basketball season now.

The incident you are speaking of happened to Andres Escobar in the 94 World Cup for the Argentine team. It let the US win a HUGE upset. It wasn't so much that the guy killed him for doing it, it was simply a bar fight that went too far. The murderer recognized him and was talking sh-t at the bar, that turned into a fight, which then he pulled out a weapon. Stupid yes, but not exactly perceived by the public as to what really happened.

Since August there really hasn't been a Saturday in which I haven't been at a Mean Green football game, or an FC Dallas game, so under much pressure I made a deal with the wife that I won't go to many saturday night basketball games. (I know, I'm weak) But I should make a good # of Monday/Tuesday/Thursday night games this year.

Yes but I don't believe we've had the opportunity to be in a conference as respectable & with as many regional opponents as C-USA, not to mention they have a pretty good TV deal now. We had the chance for this with SWC back in the 70's but it didn't work and we wound up back in I-AA.

Seems fair if you want to tell your side of the story to those on the board who are very committed and can relate to what a horribly frustrating year this has been. I sit on the student side, and can be heard many times (depending on which game) screaming at the coaches or players is some instances, when they may make a pretty dumb mistake. However, I must disagree with your decision to drop season tickets to the basketball program. I think its only right that you go to Dunham at a game and try to work out the situation, and I bet he'll apologize just like Flanigan did to SilverEagle.

CUSA no contest. Many of you haven't figured out that the product you put on the field is what matters, not the playground they play in. Although its apples and oranges, the Pittsburgh Pirates, Detroit Tigers, and our men's basketball team have all proven that.

Not to sound like a jerk but I'm sure you could find it cheaper. I flew to San Diego last May for much less.

Don't take UCLA's offense too lightly, they may have choked in the desert but we may be looking at another USC/Fresno State game again.
