Just a reminder, whenever it rains this next week (and they're giving us almost 100% assurance it will) DO NOT burn anything. Remember that a dought has a continual time span and one good drenching will not do enough to rid us of it this time around. I can guarantee you 2-3 days after our first good downpour we'll quite a few fires pop up around the metroplex from people thinking its ok to burn now.

He makes some decent points but the above statement is extremely over-simplified. Minutemen were patriots who rebelled against an unfair monarchy for the birth of our great nation, yet redmen is an outdated and incorrectly used term for a Native American. I guess if the Cal State Long-Beach wants to use Yellowmen or Ricers for their mascot because of the local Asian population then its just terrible, right?

Exactly. Something in my memory makes me believe our RB's coach has left, but I'm probably imagining things. I won't get into any Dickey arguments, I can accept giving him another year. However I'm extremely disappointed that there doesn't seem to be any pressure on him to get rid of Flanigan, not for his conduct but for his performance as an OC in his tenure.
