Could make the same argument about UNT except it's a little closer, and all of the front range along I-5 is sort of considered the Denver market until you get closer to Colorado Springs. I'm betting a ton of CSU alumni live in the metro area like we do in DFW.

Anyone want to fill me in on the whole "The ACC is imploding" stuff? The only thing I've ever heard about the ACC having problems would be losing Clemson and Florida State, but even then they'd probably be in a better position than any other G5 conference.

Cal and Stanford will 100% not play with the Colorado States and Boise States of the world. Their academic brands are way too elite for those schools, which is why they went all the way to the ACC and not the Big 12 when they had the chance.

I remember thinking we had such a great chance to beat Air Force in 2003 because of how solid our run D was. They then proceeded to rack up over 300 yards passing. The only reason we won the bowl game that season was because Cinci turned it over 6 times. Yeah good Sun Belt memories but tons of frustration when it came to every non conference game, except a terrible Baylor team that probably woke up their alumni to actually put some money towards the team.

IDK if you're confused or just trying to be cute but I can separate the play from the aesthetics of what they played in. Alabama has a million titles but their look is boring and generic.
