To beat the #1 team with walk-ons is an accomplishment in and of itself.

That's why they play in Frisco, because they got such a sweet deal on the land. Not to mention a little help from Frisco ISD. Is there any reason why we couldn't do the same with Denton ISD? What stadium do the two high schools currently play in? Couldn't we get DISD to chip in $15 mil and allow them to use our field on Thursdays and Fridays?

They are top notch, no doubt. I've played on them as well. But like you said, $10 mil is a lot closer estimate than $40 mil. You take those fields out and just leave the parking lots and its still a $90 mil 20,500 capacity stadium.

Not much at all. Pizza Hut Park is built for soccer/concerts with a 20,500 capacity. It cost about $100 mil. Of course they do have the numerous playing fields that do surround it, but they aren't anything fancy.

sort of depends. On the one hand you shouldn't be using it for a resource on a paper per say, but it has excellent info for some of those little-known pop culture phenomenons you always wanted to know more about. Also, unless its something that is with controversy (like Global Warming or George W Bush), its generally pretty reliable...especially if its something as well referenced as Uranus *hee hehe* I said "Uranus"....*heehee*

That was a pretty decent vandal. I don't think it tops my cookie monster running for president as a democratic candidate, but its pretty good.

Well, that was last year, and that was a much more talented Boise State team. Glad to see we can negatively label those who have a different opinion than the majority. Nevada is a 6-6 WAC team, Fresno did beat K-State, but nobody else, and Boise State lost to Washington. Have you seen Hawaii's non-conference schedule? They beat powerhouses like Washington, Northern Colorado, and College of Charleston. Wow... Way to make baseless assumptions. Ass.

Hawai'i was lucky to get by a 4-9 Washington Saturday night. They've played nobody, and will Georgia will demolish them.

You guys can keep getting your hopes up, but it'll take a while. Next year we won't be bowl eligible either. Hell, Tyrone Willingham is 11-25 after 3 years in Washington, but there is certainly bright hopes for him to complete the rebuilding process.
