I'm amazed that he is a soccer fan. He's so nutty when it comes to politics I figured soccer would be far too 'girly' and 'liberal' for him. Have you been to a game or just watched on TV? I've found that I'm not much of a casual soccer viewer, even if its the top European clubs. But I find it to be much much more intense if my team is playing. Way more so than any other sport for some reason. 1) MLS matches never last beyond 2 hours unless its a playoff match that goes into overtime. 2) The league is kicking and building and will soon compete with the 2nd tier leagues in Europe (Netherlands, France, Colaship). Some of the clubs can presently boast more season ticket holders than most NBA and NHL clubs. 3) You're a douchebag.

The ones I pulled out here require a great amount of athletic ability. Golf not a lot to play, but to achieve any sort of greatness. Sure I don't like watching NASCAR or Rodeo, but some of those guys are better athletes than baseball or football players.

Go the FC Dallas home opener next weekend. Sit in section 132. Have fun. Become a soccer fan. Write in your blog about it.

From 9/11/01 until about 2005, Democrats in Congress were pretty spineless. In order to not appear weak on defense they would rubber stamp numerous defense bills like the Iraq War Resolution & the Patriot Act. If you don't believe that Bushco was playing with the evidence to go to war then it really doesn't take a lot of digging. I mean Rumsfeld wrote "let's try to blame Saddam too" the day of September 11th. Going to war with Iraq was always in their plans, they just needed an excuse to do it.

All the while the administration was pushing and pulling and turning over rocks again and again to try and put together bad intelligence that Congress saw. Cheney and Rumsfeld didn't trust the CIA because they blamed them for letting 9/11 happen.

You still don't get it, but I'm not surprised. EVERY climatologist, geologist, meteorologist, any and every scientist that knows anything about climate will agree with you: global warming and cooling is cyclical. But just because they are, it doesn't debunk any current theory of global climate change. What is being analyzed and discussed amongst the scientific community is whether the current change is related to man. If you want to believe they're not then good on you, but the statements you made do not contradict each other.

They'll squeeze in. If they were in the East nobody would even be worried about their little recent skid. The better question is WTF is going on with Dancing with the Stars!?

Global warming or not, they do require loads and loads (pun intended) of trees. Recycled TP and paper towels are the way to go.
