  1. Which is why you labeled the entire movement as "socialist" when you found some of them holding up some anti-capitalism signs. By that logic, its time to deem the entire tea party movement as racists.
  2. Well with this post its pretty clear you're a little too stuck to the right vs left narrative that has overtaken any substantive debate, so I guess I'll throw you in the category with UNT Flyer and just not bother. We're still on the same side dude, the richest of the rich are doing everything they can to drown out our voices with $$$. Maybe one day you'll see it to.
  3. And whether or not he tried to help Mary Jo out of the car without drowning himself. You're making your own little stereotypical assumptions there. I'm sure they both are. And 1% or not, my point stands.
  4. This has, and always will be conjecture. No, Ted Kennedy can go fluff himself. He killed universal health care in the late 70's and then later wind power off the coast of Nantucket. So no, he doesn't share my political beliefs. I just used President dumb dumb as the most obvious example of the lack of meritocracy in this country.
  5. I like the example of the guy who got his dad's friends to buy him a baseball team, have the taxpayers foot the bill for a new stadium, and then made 5x's his investment and became governor. That's a self-made man right there.
  6. I give it 3 years before one of those new schools bolts.
  7. Between 1980 and 2005, 80% of all new income created in the US has gone to the top 1%. Remember folks, its only called class warfare when we fight back.
  8. Last week I was pretty close, so I guess I'll try again. UNT 23 ASU 21
  9. Good info to know. I'd still rather not have to throw up a tent and instead just tailgate out of the back of my car, but I digress. Lots is right, that's an insane amount of work just to drink a few beers before a game.
  10. If they wanna stay on the hill that's their own business. My only problem is how do they get all their stuff there? Are they allowed to park where only MG Club members do? Do they have help in towing their stuff to the hill? Because I know even big frat guys can't walk couches from greek row. I attend the games and pay for a ticket and I have to walk all the way from campus. I'd love to be able to tailgate, but sorry, $125 or whatever the MG Club fees are, are just a little too high for that priveledge. Why should greeks get the free ride if they're not even coming in the stadium?
  11. Remember what happened to the WAC when it got to 16 teams? The more affluent and prestigious schools split off to make a more leet conference. Can you imagine 32 schools being able to stick together like that for very long? Sheesh. Maybe the Sun Belt is the more stable place to be.
  12. "People have a different opinion than I, so they must be mocked!!"
  13. There were some in front of me that I presume to be recruits, but I'm not certain. They were going up to their seats at the same time I was with the Eagle Angels as their escorts. Saw a few with Keller Central shirts on, some from Sachse I think. A few left in the first half, they looked like they were interested in getting to a TV or Arlington for the World Series game. (that's a total guess). When I went to the student side in the 4th quarter I know some recruits were still there.
  14. Just whip it out and take care of that kid. If anybody's got a problem with it tell them to go sit on a cactus. This country is so damn prudish.
  15. I just like the fact that they're named the Roadrunners. I seriously want them to play South Dakota.
  16. Were none of our MVC opponents ever considered rivals? Do we have any in basketball?
  17. 28/M/Cedar Hill Emergency Admin & Planning Graduate: December 2007
  18. Funny that they're asking Temple to come back.
  19. Was in line to do it again. Epic failure lately. Dallas Cup might be the biggest youth soccer competition in the world. And we did host the World Cup, but that was 94. We have hosted some games of the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 09 & this last summer.
  20. Lubbock? Waco? Houston? I can't speak though, the only parts of Albuquerque I've seen are from Breaking Bad...looks ok to me, but I'm a big fan of desert cities.
  21. The only question it didn't answer...and maybe this is no fault of anyone's because Bartman won't do interviews, is whether or not he still attends games at Wrigley. I'm dying to know this.
