Was sitting on the home side, so I never got a great look at it. But the student side was awesome. I've been attending since 2001 and it was definitely the most I've ever seen.

Road closings part of Apogee stadium traffic plan
Coffee and TV replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
Little help here...my brother's former workplace is one of the warehouses on the Northwest side of I35W. We were planning on crossing under a bridge where the railroad tracks go under the highway. Will I be able to access that service road, or is it closed? -
I made 4 super conferences: ACC, Big "10", SEC, and PAC "12". The rest were SOL :-( I think that's ultimately how it ends up (plus Notre Dame), will split off of NCAA and keep the $$ for themselves. They'll probably do a playoff system too. Maybe the rest of us UNTs and Baylors and MTSUs will do bowls and the like, but it looks like greed will ultimately corrupt.

RIP Bobby Rhine
Coffee and TV replied to Eagle-96's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
I had the pleasure of meeting Bobby a few times and he was a world class guy. So down to earth, so humble, probably never had an ill thing to say about anyone. So tragic that he leaves behind his two kids at such a young age. Some of my friends were really close to his family and they're really shook up right now. Just tragic. There's an impromptu memorial at Pizza Hut Park tonight at 7pm for anyone interested. It'll be next to his picture on the southwest corner of the stadium. R.I.P. Bobby: a good soccer player and a wonderful man. -
I thought the UNT v Houston game was on TV

*sigh*......I could have used you last Thursday. But maybe its better I didn't see that abomination anyways. Hearing it on the radio was bad enough. -
I dunno if there's much left out there to be conquered. The Spanish tried that and the Mexicans got really pissed.

Sorry, but you're wrong...TV has everything to do with it. I subscribed to Time Warner cable as my internet provider (I don't really have any choice unless overpaying for Uverse). Time Warner allows its customers to use ESPN3 IF they are also Time Warner CABLE subscribers. I am not because I was already in a contract with DirecTV when I moved. Watching it on ESPN3 on my computer is fine...I have a good sized computer screen and I could hook it up to my TV if necessary. The problem is that Time Warner only considers me a half-customer or some BS because I only pay for internet and not cable too.
-
Thanks, it's worth a try. Stupid Time Warner.
-
You have a link? And is their any sort of subscription required?
-
I'm not in front of my TV, but my DirecTV ap says the only game is Mississippi State vs Memphis tonight.
-
Possible. I could go to the Barnes and Noble & I wouldn't have to do any hacking... With the way its setup in my neighborhood, I think its all charter. All my friends have PS3s....that's why we're friends.
-
Does anyone know of a good place to look for an um....'shady' link to watch online? I have Time Warner for internet but DirecTV for cable, therefore I don't have access to ESPN3.

Don't understand why either side gets excited every time one of these court decisions comes out. No matter what the lower courts say, it'll ultimately go to the Supreme Court. No need to feel triumphant or defeated until then. And in any case, no court will throw out the entire bill, only very limited aspects of it.

Thinking his nomination bid will look a lot like Huckabee's in 08. Probably a sweep of the south, always in the running for a few months, but just not enough of the Republican electorate to get behind him. He'll probably get a decent amount of backers (especially from those with $$ in Texas) to stay in the race for a while, but ultimately it'll be Romney. I'd bet he doesn't take too many risks in campaigning as he probably wants to be VP. And no matter how you feel about it, not matter the context, a lot of people will not forgive him for the secession comments.
