This. Funny I was listening just yesterday to his show on one of the Sirius channels and a caller talked about how it was crazy they fired him and how he'd be a perfect fit at UCLA, on and on. Leach just stayed professional and went "hey that's nice, I look forward to being a coach again". Guess he had it all worked out already.

pfttt... the real party is in the luggage compartment. HOLLA.

Same. Although I'm not at home, so maybe it got added to DirecTV and I just haven't come across it yet.

For those who follow the coaching staff changes

What exactly is Zona State expecting by firing Erickson? With the Wildcats nabbing Rich Rodriguez, which is a perfect fit IMO, ASU will fall even further behind unless they nab a big-time guy. -
a 1-11 team whose only win came against an FCS school? Hey, nobody's complaining about a win because I know I enjoyed it, but let's not hang our hats on that one like it was something special.

Not only that but they did it exactly 24 hours after beating us. It could have been closer had they had an extra day of rest.

That's like Arizona or Utah's chancellor saying they don't want to be in the PAC-12 because California has an automatic recruiting advantage. Cry me a freakin river.

Gomeangreen.com in a nutshell 1) Very reasonable opinion stated 2) Reply - Why do you think that? 3)Fairly reasonable point to back up original. 4)Downvote I don't see any of ULL's wins that equal SMU's over TCU. Don't see it being a blowout though.

Careful or you'll end up with an AD that sounds like Plumm.

Considering.

It'll be a cold day in hell when I make that list.

Dude. Kansas. Big 12 team, lots of alumni in DFW, very winnable game. It would be a sellout. I think we could sacrifice and pay a little more for tickets to get them to come. Plus, if A&M was on their schedule it opens up a game. They'll keep playing Mizzou regardless though.

hahaha...hah....hahahaha You seen some of the ESPN televised games in the last few weeks? I think it was in Western Michigan where they had to have had less than 1k for a game. It was pretty pathetic.
-
True, but if CUSA gets 12 then we'll be in a division where we'll be playing fewer of those eastern schools and have Rice, Tulsa, UTEP year after year.

Couldn't really care about this one way or the other, but what really bothers me is the way they did it. They're holding up approval of the sale of the team by demanding that the Astros change leagues. That's kinda shitty IMO. If the new owner said no thanks then that could kill some of the value and Drayton McLane's asking price would have to go down.

Frisco is growing a lot faster, but Denton is still bigger. Frisco also has a wealthier tax base to keep up with the growth. Frisco's main economic engine is growth, whereas Denton has always been more established. Tiny prairie towns generally have an advantage when it comes to rate of growth to a city that has older infrastructure and residents that aren't as transient. Not to mention a commute from Frisco to anywhere with higher-paying jobs is much easier than from Denton. Denton is transitioning from college-town to suburb and the growth will come with it. City officials have gotta figure out how to balance that, and from the complaints I hear they don't seem to be doing a great job.

Yep. This team looks like it has a ton of talent. We'll get it together come conference time.

Good lord Chris Jones can ball.

Better than nothing, but this broadcast is pretty poor quality. The commentators don't even sound like they're at the game.

Ah, gotcha. And just for the record, I cancelled whoever neg repped you for this post. wtf was that about?

I agree with you on most of your points (including your previous post), but I still buy NCAA for whatever reason. I guess they make enough little quirks every year for me to really enjoy it. I'm a baby though, I play it on easy level so I can win. It rolls off my shoulder when I lose in life or when one of my teams does, but I buy video games so I can win dammit. On regular level its absolutely impossible to gain more than 3 yards a carry, or complete a pass over the middle of the field. Even on easy level its really hard to run the option unless you're running the "load option" which keeps your QB from being slower than molasses. My biggest complaint about this year's game is the ridiculous amount of scoring. I've played multiple games where I'm only the offensive coordinator, and I have to score in the 60's and 70's just to keep pace with the AI. Its pretty bad.
