DO YOUR JOB. Support the players and the program. That is your only purpose. It is not our job (as much as it pains me to say this) to criticize play calling, hire/fire coaches. Our job is simply to go and support the program and hopefully have a good time doing it. If that is to much to ask, leave, and I guess I will see you when things cycle back around in 3 or 4 years (because the history of college football tells us things run in cycles, ask Florida St. or Miami) and we are at the top again.

What programs do you think have the biggest fairweather (or worst in my opinion) fans. Fans who aren't happy unless they are spreading doom and gloom 1. Oklahoma 2. North Texas 3. Dallas Cowboy 4. LSU Tigers 5. University of Miami Also, name a school in the Sun Belt (because the last time I checked, that is the conference we compete in) that wouldn't trade their coaching staff and players for ours in the last five years.

According to the Daily Oklahoman, Rod Flemming is transferring to North Texas. He is originally from DeSoto, TX. No details on his classification (fr. so. etc) or why he left. I heard ever since Eddie got sober, he has been a real pain in the ass. Also, I do not know why this thread is on the football board.

I would trade the pick. Reggie Bush is being touted almost exactly like Rahib "The Rocket" Ismail and Vince Young doesn't strike me as someone who is smart enough to come in and start right away. Trade them to KC for Larry Johnson and an O-Lineman.

This is a hot topic in Oklahoma. What do you guys think? The story- Shawnee quarterback Tucker Brown was ejected for kicking a player in the head in a quarterfinal playoff game. According to OSSAA (Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activity Association) rules, a player ejected for fighting must sit out two games (meaning he would miss the semi-finals and the finals). Shawnee Head Coach Billy Brown, who also happens to be Tucker Brown's father, filed an injunction in court and the court stepped in and said he could play. The OSSAA, sticking by their guns, postponed the game. Shawnee claims that a player from the other school had punched one of his players and didn't get ejected so why should his son get ejected for kicking the other player in the head. The play happened with :19 left in the game as Shawnee was downing the ball to run out the clock. Behind the story: Tucker Brown started a baseball brawl last spring and was let off the hook. Shawnee is notorious for cheap shots and a general lack of class. Shawnee does not have a snowball's chance of winning if he doesn't play. The Governor of Oklahoma (who is from Shawnee and is a big Shawnee supporter) said the officials let the game get out of hand (video evidence shows there were no problems or controversial calls until the last :19). What this means: The state playoffs in this class will be pushed back two weeks at least and may not be played until after the first of the year. This is a dangerous precedent to be setting.

I will never understand why people bash Dickey. Is it because he doesn't have the big name that everyone wants in college football. I guess LOYALTY doesn't mean anything. Yes Dickey could have left but he decided to stay because he likes it down here. People that put down someone with 22 straight conference wins are idiots (i.e. JayDub, Coach). Any coach in any conference would kill for 22 straight. You have to give credit to the coaching. Our athletes aren't the same as the ones in the BCS schools but they are the same as the people that we won 22 straight over. Get rid of Dickey and get who? Choice #1-which is the most likely-is bring someone in who can't win. Choice #2 - bring someone in who will win and use this job as a stepping stone to leave.
